Made a reservation but was placed at the bar top instead of a bad table, when I asked about why I couldn’t sit at all the empty tables I was told they have to keep them on hold for other reservations that want to enjoy the experience which was the purpose of me coming, overall the staff seem cold and made me feel like I wasn’t wanted. The food was good but they definitely need to work on the customer service. I even called before coming about the dress code and to see if it was any available space in the bar I was told no but then booked my reservation on open table. I dine at plenty of steakhouses and restaurants in and around houston but today was an overall bad experience especially living in the area

The interior is really dated. Giant silk floral arrangements so circa 1990s. Food was subpar. Not what you expect from this houston legend of a restaurant. We had cheesecake for dessert that pretty much was like a Stoffers frozen desert. Wine list is good but dated. 4 bottles I wanted were on the list but they didn’t have them. Service was amazing. Juan was the best and Fred too.

Very Disappointing! We know when we go to Tony’s (bar area dining) it’s going to be pricey. Which is fine, because we expect the quality, service and ambiance to match. Food was good. But service was about the worst. Will we be back? NO, sorry to say…I’m done with Tony’s. It used to be our go to place that we could count on for quality service, food and ambiance. For the price, it should be entire package. Otherwise, we can go elsewhere. It was 3 of us on a girls night out. Our reservation was at 7. We arrived at 6:45 and left at 10:15. We had to flag down anyone we could find for a menu, to pour our wine and to even place our order. And then when we finally received our entree, butter came but no bread! Bread finally came after I flagged the bartender down. And it came almost after dinner not even during the salad! The table setting was average. White cloth and a small candle. No pretty Tony’s charger or table setting. Nothing special. Incomplete set of silverware. I’m afraid, Tony’s has seen better days…I’m happy to have experienced that…but I’m gonna have to pass on it for any future dining.

This is Houston's premier dining institution. We were celebrating a birthday and boy does Tony's do it right! The dining room is exquisite and the service precise without being intrusive. The food is without parallel in the state of Texas. We had the best Dover Sole I have had outside of France. Others in our party enjoyed the Red Snapper in a Barolo Sause which was sublime. Finished off with a wonderful Grand Marnier Souffle! Tony's now has a portion of its wine list that features 'wines under $75 per bottle. A very respectable grouping and so far each one I have tried has been excellent.

Great place to visit and dine! Pretty expensive, but nice to go to for special occasions. Surprised by the parking, not expected to pay for parking. Most places around Houston , away from downtown, parking is free.

Very Nice evening, food was fantastic. Waiter had a lot going on and two big tables he was taking care of. I was not disappointed with the experience, just expected 5 star service. This is more like a 4 star family restaurant, not a bad thing - just thought we would be over waited on. Last time I was in that buildingit was Maxums and the service was over to top. I will go back, the fact that Mrs. Vallone assisted us with a table and that Exec. Chef Kate McClean checked on us as well goes a long way.

Everything from outstanding service to amazing food was exceptional. I had to order the branzino since I’ve been dreaming of it since the last time I was here. Wonderful again! Prices are high but we really appreciated the $75 and under wine section. It is awesome to dine in a setting that is not so loud that one can’t hear.
