Dine at the most breathtaking oceanfront setting in Kapalua Resort. Peter Merriman Chef/Restauranteur has brought his unique style of Hawaii Regional Cuisine to Maui. A pioneer in the “Farm to Table” concept, Peter serves only the freshest products, at least 90% of which are locally grown or caught, using only sustainable methods.

Reservations are released 60 days prior at 6am HST. This includes all holidays. We cannot accommodate parties larger than 8 people or split reservations in our main dining room.

For a more casual dining experience, join us at The Point, our oceanside dining location offering a casual menu. The Point opens daily at 4pm, weather depending. Reservations are not needed or accepted for The Point. Happy Hour is from 4pm to 530pm at the Point and Bar.

    Amazing experience for dinner with my husband. The food was the best we’ve had in Maui all week. I had the ribeye and he had the lobster plate. The service was phenomenal, even offering me a shawl when the wind started bothering me. Our reservation was too late in the day to enjoy the cliffside views fully so I recommend trying to get here before sunset for that!

    The Greatest Dining Experience of Our Lives - Merriman’s Maui I’ve come to realize that when a restaurant treats a honeymoon couple with the utmost care, they’re not just serving two guests at random, they’re investing in a legacy. Win over a couple on the most meaningful trip of their lives, and you just might win generations to come. Merriman’s may understand this better than anyone. From the moment my wife and I arrived, we were treated with a level of care and warmth unlike anything we’ve encountered elsewhere. The staff made us feel celebrated, honored, and genuinely welcomed. The atmosphere was perfection, ocean breeze, glowing sunset, and live music by local star ALOHA AKONI who somehow played every song we already loved. It wasn’t just dinner, it was a moment we’ll treasure forever. The food? Absolutely amazing. The best steak of my life, perfectly cooked and full of rich flavor. My wife’s dish of scallops and clams was equally stunning, fresh, delicate, and masterfully prepared along with a few appetizers for the full experience. But the food wasn’t the experience. It was a brush stroke in the grander tapestry that is an evening with Merriman’s. Merriman’s didn’t just serve us a meal they gifted us a memory. If you’re in Maui, this is a must. No other restaurant even comes close to this level of service.

    The food was excellent, service was perfectly attentive and you can’t get a better view. We are a family with young boys but this is a great spot for a date night too.
