Owner Donnette Hansen's attention to detail is reflected in everything from the comfortable refined log cabin setting & landscaped grounds to the seasonally changing menus. Insider's tip: go for the business lunch ($19 for three courses). Sophisticated but not stuffy! Menu hits include elk chops, grilled buffalo tenderloin, smoked rainbow trout caviar topped tater tots and Lodge smoked duck gumbo. Do not miss the famous TIED FLY BAR! with its crafted cocktails and views of an acre of grounds, the bar is the most popular seat in the house.     Wonderful evening at Rainbow Lodge. Our waiter, Luis, was outstanding. Everything was great, the food, service, and atmosphere. It was raining, so could not enjoy the outside, but a beautiful evening.

    Our first brunch at Rainbow Lodge and were not disappointed. Food, service, ambience met and exceeded our expectations. The pecan sticky buns were outstanding and could be a meal by themselves. I ordered the brisket hash and asked for the eggs over medium well (dislike runny eggs) and when the dish arrived at the table, it was obvious the eggs were barely over-easy. Lothar, our waiter, took the dish back to the kitchen. When he returned a few minutes later, the eggs were cooked perfectly. The other three dishes arrived as ordered and nothing was left by the time we finished. Well worth a return visit.

    Great place for a birthday dinner date. The service is wonderful. Save room for dessert and go with the bread pudding, it’s delicious.

    There was quite an Easter crush this year. It didn’t seem to phase the team at all. The service was excellent as was the food. It was a lovely way to spend Easter.
