   My book club was celebrating our 20th anniversary so we selected Silks. I cannot speak highly enough of this restaurant! The table was large enough for the 10 of us to sit comfortably, the food was delicious and beautifully presented and the staff were attentive and informative. We selected the Tasting Plate and it was excellent value for money. Highly recommend Silks and cannot wait to dine there again.

   This was a birthday treat to use a voucher we had received for Christmas, we went for the silks tasting menu as hadn’t dined there for many years and didn’t know the food we were not disappointed everything was very tasty nicely presented and the service was very good. Complete with a dragon dance to celebrate Chinese New Year.

   Limited menu. Had king prawns but no description that they were battered & deep fried. Nice food but a little disappointed overall.

   Very poor level of service, food came out at different times. Desert came out at the same times as mains, then we had to wait 20mins for the rest of the deserts...they served the children's food halfway through meal. Poor ambience for Chinese new year. Not good value for money. Wouldn't go back.

   From the minute we walked in the staff were very friendly and attentive. We had the taster menu which was lovely. When things arrived the staff explained what it was which was great. The whole meal was lovely and there cocktails were brilliant too I had a golden silks.

   Went to Silks with lowish expectations but we were pleasantly surprised. Good sized servings and the food was delicious. Service friendly and efficient. Happy to recommend.
