   Service was decent and atmosphere in the basement was fine (although there was a weird smell when we stepped in), but the food was awful for the amount that we paid for it. The dishes did get better as it went on but it was still incredibly disappointing. To start, the bread plate they give at the table was the worst I've ever had. The oil itself was insanely watery and flavorless despite the various herbs and spices that sank at the bottom (I think I read somewhere that it was canola oil and I wish I could've confirmed while I was there because if it was then I could've saved myself $100). The bruschetta was drenched in oil and didn't taste like much aside from straight tomatoes. The carbonara was admittedly my fault for ordering since I didn't read correctly on the menu that it used cream instead of eggs, so I was a bit surprised when I was given what essentially felt like an alfredo pasta with prosciutto (?) and onions (???). The only saving grace was that it was a large portion size but for $24 I would've taken a smaller plate if it meant that it'd taste better. My mom like her chicken marsala but even then she felt like the sauce for that was too watery. Didn't try it but that one did not look like it would be worth $30+. We were offered dessert but by that point I just wanted to leave. Avoid this place, there's so much better deeper into the North End

   The portions are amazing, and the quality of food is absolutely great. Conveniently located in the North End. Very intimate and the staff was amazing.

   The menu online had wonderful dishes that we hoped to enjoy. Unfortunately , the menu at the restaurant had none of these things on it. We were very disappointed and went elsewhere (Brewer's Fork) which was wonderful. Sorry, Massiminos, you promised something you couldn't deliver.

   Food was amazing. Servers a bit off, but very friendly and accommodating. Very noisy. People were not speaking at normal inside levels. Lots of yelling.

   We had a great meal celebrating a few birthdays in our group. Bianca and the staff did everything they could to make it a great night. The recommendation for starters and mains were spot one for everybody at the table.
