We have 3 private dining rooms and a wine cellar available for private functions.Dining Room 1 can accommodate up to 70.The Mezzanine/ Balcony section above can accommodate another 40.The Wine Cellar can host up to another 40. All rooms are connected or adjoined as we have held numerous events booking the entire restaurant. All rooms are Beautiful.There is also an back deck/ patio and courtyard in the rear of the restaurant which is completely private and can be used in addition with the other rooms.

I randomly picked this restaurant and it was the best move I could have made. The food was beyond delicious and the service was top notch. The hostess made us feel like family. Would definitely go back there

Sammy's Trattoria is simply the best. If you're lucky enough to have Val or Carly as your server you're guaranteed a great evening and the perfect preview to a concert at Meyerhoff. The bread with garlic oil is phenomenal and the scope of the menu is amazing with great salads, pasta's (ever al dente) and entrees. Our family always looks forward to events that encompass dinner at Sammy's.

Nice local Italian cuisine in Mt. Vernon. Perfect location for those heading to a show at The Lyric. Waitstaff wasn't overly warm & fuzzy and seemed super busy. Overall, the ambience and food were just what we were looking for.

Excellent food and service. We would visit again. They do offer gluten-free pasta, but it would be nice if they also offered a gluten-free option for dessert, such as ice cream.

Restaurant was nice and food was good. Portions were large. However, nothing stood out as really great. We have eaten in many outstanding Italian restaurants over the years and this was a fine meal but no where near our top 10.

I have always enjoyed Sammy's when in Baltimore. This time there was a nearby and major concert and it was packed. The food is excellent as is the menu selection. The servers are especially warm and efficient. This is truly a neighborhood gem with a warm vibe and great food.

While the entrees were delicious the service was very slow though it wasn’t crowded. I think the waiter knew our food was late and avoided us as he brought food to tables that were sat after us. When he finally got the nerve to talk to us he apologized and offered each of us a glass of wine. We would go again.

Sammy's is the best of Baltimore! The food and service are always exemplary. If you're VERY lucky you'll have Val or Carly as your server. The level of care is astonishing. We are always thrilled to have an opportunity for pre-Meyerhof dining at Sammy's. It's the magical intro to a great musical (or Speaker) event. Thanks for adding so much for these special evenings and events.

Sammy’s is a gem! This was my first time and the food and atmosphere didn’t disappoint. It was a first date and of course I love good food! We were a little late because of traffic and I called to let them know and the host was very gracious and held the reservation. People with reservations are seated very quickly. Our server wasn’t very pleasant and actually I would say darn right rude! However the food made up for the lack of good service! I would return and yes I highly recommend this restaurant!

Mike did the best service that I've ever had when dining at Sammy's before a BSO Symphony . I stopped dinning at Sammy's before a concert because it was too stressful trying to get dinner and pay the check in order to make the concert on time. Mike got everyone out in plenty of time to be at the BSO on time.

Perfect for pre-symphony meal. Reserve 2-1/2 hours before your event starts for a delicious , relaxed meal. Attentive but no-rush service.

The food here is really good. Starting with the bread and garlic/parmesan dipping oil..it was so good and lots of parmesan. The salad for the table is very good as well. The lasagna was just how I like it....a LOT of cheese. Others had pesto pasta dishes and chicken parm, and they all liked it. The service was good, but they seemed short handed and very busy. This is not a negative comment, being short handed is everywhere. But I must say, they were handling it very well, and were very polite. Just were not able to be as attentive to all of the tables for drink refills and such. I would definitely go here again.

The food, staff, and ambience was great. It was a show night so the place was hopping. It felt rushed at first but the staff made you feel like your family. Veal parm and bolognese were delicious. Highly recommended.

We have always enjoyed dining here. This time service was terrible. Granted the restaurant was very busy. However, we had to ask three times for our wine and never could get our water refilled. The wait staff seemed more interested in talking and joking with there regular customers. After we were done eating we waited over 30 minutes to get a check and then the waitress was extremely rude when asked how everything was. Yes, we will return but it will be a while.

Fantastic gem of a restaurant and one of the best dinners we've ever had. Plus Valerie made our party of five feel like we were guests in her own home. Great food. Fun ambience. But the people there make this place magical.
