Desde 2006, el restaurante LakeHouse ha sido la joya de Bay Shore, Nueva York. Este verano, los copropietarios Eileen y Matthew Connors han convertido este acogedor y elegante lugar junto al lago en un nuevo y magnifico establecimiento ubicado junto al muelle. Our experience was fine. The friendly hostess suggested we wait for our table at the outdoor bar, which had almost no seating and a dishwashing station right in your face. The bartender was working very hard alone behind the bar, so right away I was concerned this restaurant might be short staffed. The outdoor area had a nice view and was covered with comfortable seating. The server never introduced himself and, after a slightly long wait, abruptly asked "what we wanted." Other than that he was like enough, and the food was decent. My duck was tasty. My husband's cavatelli looked like it had been sitting for a while. We looked at the dessert menu, but decided we were too full. We handed the menus back to the server and then waited an awkwardly long time for the check. Overall, it was... fine. It was busy for a weeknight, so perhaps they were overwhelmed.

It was my 65th birthday and we had a little dinner party with my family. The service was outstanding, it was raining out so the outside roof leaked a lot. The food was also outstanding. But for four people, my bill was extremely high so I find it to be very pricey. Other than that, it was the perfect evening. The desserts were to die for!

My favorite restaurant all year….but getting a table outside in the summer makes it a little more special. Came with my parents for dinner and everything was perfect from beginning to end. Tuna, oysters, cod, chicken…and the best carrot cake biscotti to complement the affogato. Thanks so much.

Overall everything about the restaurant was very nice including the food, atmosphere and our server, Bryan. My first interaction upon arrival was incredibly dissatisfying. The hostess was useless, and the manager was incredibly rude. If management actually reads these reviews, I would be happy to explain in further detail. Overall, as a result of the manager’s unprofessional behavior, I will not return to this restaurant. It was a poor start to what was supposed to be an incredibly important celebration.
