    We had drinks and appetizers. House Margarita very yummy, good HH price. Aguachile ceviche very tasty as well as the atún! Salsa that came with chips was very good/spicy. We were there early 5:30-6:30, so not crowded/loud. Service was great. Parking available in lot next door $10. Otherwise take your chance at finding one on street. Enjoyed the experience. Would go back.

    Had the Mezcalrita (the burnt orange garnish was a great finishing touch), Trio of Ceviche, and Tamal de Elote Con Camarones (excellent sweet corn tamales with shrimp, bacon and creamy sauce). Creamy Cinnamon sugar churros presented to celebrate our anniversary topped the night. We savored everything. Paula was our excellent server. Thanks for an enjoyable dinner!

    La Fisheria is a great local restaurant. The fish and seafood are always fresh. We tried the trio ceviche appetizer. It was excellent. The service was great. We were greeted immediately and shown to our table. The waitress was attentive but not hovering. The meals we ordered were good sized portions. The hot food arrived hot; it was freshly prepared and not microwaved or sitting under a heat lamp. All of us needed to go containers because we couldn't finish them. This was my fourth time at La Fisheria. I have not been disappointed in any of my visits.

    I gave service a poor rating because of the extremely long waits for our appetizer (30-40 minutes) and equally long for the meals we ordered (there were just two of us). The waitstaff were courteous and friendly. We ordered a dip as an appetizer immediately after the waitress came to our table. In the meantime, another couple was seated at the next table and ordered. They received their dinners and were almost finished when our appetizer finally arrived. We were on our THIRD basket of chips and salsa. We will NEVER go there again!

    Excellent food! We had the frozen mango margaritas, calamari (perhaps the best in the city) and ceviche (exceptional), shrimp tamale and the limon dessert! Sooo good!

    Good food, bad service. The branzino was big enough for us to share, but it was brought to the table while we were only halfway through the entree, which was a large, but very one-note ceviche. The waitress was only intermittently on the floor. One appetizer, one entree, and two glasses of tea came to $90. The entree was great, but the value was not as great. The room was very noisy and the air conditioning wasn't up to the current unusually high temperatures. We were unlucky enough to be at a table where the late afternoon sun blinded me every time the door was opened and when the sun got to the window over the door.

    Sweet potato flautas and the churros were standouts but really everything was good. I also ordered the Pompano al Limon which was everything I wanted it to be. Would come back here and try to order family style .

    The food was excellent and every member of my party enjoyed the experience. It did take a while to get each course; not sure if that’s typical or if there was an issue in the kitchen. However, I’d eat here again.

    As soon as you enter great place , food amazing cleanliness good. service could improve a little, nice people but need to be more attentive. I would definitely go again because of the amazing food .

    We had reservations for 6:00 and were just a bit late. They seated us no problem. We got drinks and we all ordered off of the HRW menu, which was unexpected as I had forgotten all about that. We got the drinks and apps very quickly. And then waited an hour for the main entrée. We were going to a show at 8 and had to rush to eat that and the deserts. Then we asked to split the check 2 of us on one and then 1 individual. She split it in fourths and then gave the 2, 75% of the check and the other 25%. The apps were amazing, as was the fish. The tamale I wouldn't order again.

    Overall good - the food was fine; the atmosphere is lively (don't expect to hear your table mates). Waiter was fine, but gift card was not processed in a way that I would have expected

    The aguachile was not bad, overall the food was good. The main unfortunate part was that the person who's birthday we celebrated ordered a soup which was cleared frozen and then reheated.

    Seafood-centered Mexican restaurant. We gave it a try before a Hobby Center performance last night. Loved our meals! Try the sweet corn tamales with shrimp and bacon cream sauce! Only 6-minute drive to theater.

    Our waitress Michelle was amazing, this was our first time and she made it perfect evening. We probably ordered too much food, but everything we tried we would definitely try again. Must haves are tamal, pulpo, and the pompano. You can thank me later.

    Our meal at La Fisheria was outstanding. Highlights were the Huachinango a la Veracruzana, Vuelve a la Vida, the Pompano with lemon and the Aros de Calamari. The service was very good and we felt it was a good value for what we ordered. It was our first trip, but we will definitely be back

    The air conditioning seemed to be broken. They had a lot of emergency type units in the dinning room, which were noisy and made the place look cheap with an under construction type vibe. Even with those units the place was warm. Food was okay, not high end at all.

    Love the food. We are repeat customers since they were in The Heights. This visit, we had reservations but were put in the back room...by ourselves. Because of this, our service was good, but slow...like we were at times forgotten about. The drinks and food is always superb.

    Not worth the money (it’s expensive) given the quality of food. The price suggests fine dining but what we received was not better than we’d get at home. We were disappointed.
