We had a group of 14 on a Sunday at noon. The table was served perfectly and the food all came out at the same time. Selections were numerous so everyone could pick their favorite. The hamburger is outrageously good.

Great service, view and food. The noise level is my only issue. They should consider replacing the metal tile on the ceiling.

We had a birthday celebration at Limewood. Always enjoy having lunch on the deck on a beautiful day with views of the bay. Food, ambience and server were all terrific!

Too expensive. $20 for lettuce salad plus $24 for a small piece of salmon added was $44, far too much $$$ for what was offered. Also too expensive for a plate that had a smallish smash burger and filled up with too many potato french fries. It was as if the kitchen had to fill up the empty space on the plate with fries to make up for the small $24 burger and no salad with it.

Great view of the bay and Berkeley Tennis Club. Secure parking. Excellent food and atmosphere. Part of classic Fairmont Hotel chain. Service was very good. Reservations required. Went on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed late brunch. Always have been happy with the hotel and its services.

Our host and server were lovely and attentive. The food was sub-par. Well the rolls were good but the fish dishes dry and tasteless - really not appetizing. The prices are very high but I attribute that to it being an hotel. However the food was much better when it was Paragon, if still as pricey. Cocktails plus views are always a plus but eat somewhere else as there are so many better options

We live in The Elmwood. Our son and his family were staying at The Claremont so we decided to have brunch up at The Limewood. As it happened to be Father’s Day, the restaurant was perhaps busier than usual. On a few occasions, I have also had lunch there. No matter when I have dined at The Limewood, it’s seemed as if waiters were assigned too many tables as they are rarely to be seen and are unable to provide us with the standard degree of attention waiters are most restaurants give. The food was very good though. Ultimately, our decision to dine there is also greatly influenced by the deck and its view.

Limewood is in a great setting with beautiful views of the Bay and the city. The property is unique and nice with the Bay view on one side and the hills and greenery on the other. The restaurant is clean, modern, and fun with big windows and a big patio. Everyone was very friendly and the service was excellent. The food was "uneven" and disappointing. The bread is amazing with the garlic tallow butter! It looks like the appetizer burger which was giant was a good value. The whole branzino was good and again, great value. However, as I mentioned, it was very uneven. The charcuterie "board" was nothing more than a plate with two meats, two cheeses, two very hard, pickled things that we still aren't sure what we ate, one tiny piece of cauliflower stem, small piece of honey comb and some cracker bread trying to be lahvosh. None of it was chef selected or artisanal or whatever the menu said to hype it up and it was very meager for the $52 charge. One of the meats was mortadella, Italian bologna, come on man!?! The "gem" salad was nothing more than a horrible, soggy Caesar with croutons from the salad kits you buy at Safeway and then with the added salmon, charged $42?!?! Whoever does their menu "marketing" did an amazing job with their descriptions and made it sound like a gourmet meal was about to happen, but that is hardly the case. For such a unique property with great views and menu that sounds like I am eating a Michelin starred restaurant, it was disappointing at best.
