   Absolutely delightful! After going home with Tiramisu leftovers in a box, my husband and I discussed how wonderful our dinner was in terms of a date night. The service was exemplary: Abby was personable and kind. She was just as attentive as we wanted. We are pretty chatty people, and she was able to jazz up our conversation and weave her way out to help her other tables. The food was amazing. Each dish had its own flavor nuances and you could tell they were made with passion for food in mind. Collectively, we all agreed that the Bolognese was second only to what some nonnas in Rome prepared for us by hand. Husband and 17 year old had carbonara and ghocchi. Both were good and we consumed all of them, but the bolognese was everything. We had no idea how thrilled we would be with ordering everything at once. The fluidity with which the staff served each course and allowed for enjoyment is indicative of an amazing management team. We didn’t wait for food, yet we weren’t rushed. I was gifted this meal by a client a couple of years ago and my only regret is not going sooner!

   Every single person was so kind and attentive, the tip was added on the end so that was great. I celebrated my 4 year anniversary here and it was great! I actually had another reservation at a different restaurant but had a poor experience booking so I ended up coming here since it’s my partners favorite restaurant and it was great. I really cannot understate how kind and attentive the staff was.

   Felt like we were dining at someone’s home and they cooked up the most incredible meals for us. The Carbonara was the creamiest, and the broccolini on the risotto literally tasted like a steak. How?!?! Soooo good all around and fab wine list.

   We have loved San Fermo since they opened. We moved away several years ago & were back in town for a couple of days so thought we’d check it out. We were not disappointed. We enjoyed the excellent service & outstanding entrees—my husband had the bolognese & I had the pasta with Alaska spot prawns. The bolognese is the best! The prawns were lightly sauced and a generous portion. Cannot recommend this place more. Just perfect.

   Excellent experience, from the service to the meal itself. The service charge combined with no expectation of a tip ended up being liberating from a service perspective - and the service was very, very good. We will look forward to returning next time we're in the area.

   vibes are immaculate. the food is really solid, particularly the bolognese but i also had the gnocchi and that was good. fun cocktails and wine list. we sat outside and it was perfect weather and so dreamy. the service is pretty subpar. we had dirty dishes sitting on our table for a long while, took far too long between courses/to get our check. not to mention they have a 23% (!!!!!!!) service charge. if you are going to charge 23% service, you better provide 23% service level but this was a place where i would tip below my average. felt scammy.

   San Fermo is an Italian gem located in one of Seattle's best neighborhoods, Ballard. The ambience is cozy and intimate- the perfect place for a date or a dinner with friends you want to talk to all night long. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff kind and prompt. I will definitely be recommending San Fermo to everyone I know.

    Great food and service. The upstairs was extremely loud when full. I loved their drink, food and dessert menu. It’s my staple Italian restaurant in Seattle
