Tavern House is the creation of restaurateurs David Wilhelm and Gregg Solomon who have developed numerous Orange County restaurants over the past 25 years, including Kachina, Bistro 201, Barbacoa, Chat Noir, Diva, Sorrento Grille and French 75. The menu reflects a collection of Chef Wilhelm's popular signature seafood and comfort food dishes. A large centrally located bar drives a vibrant night time scene in what is arguably one of the best view locations in Newport Harbor. Tavern House has a beautiful 50 seat private room for banquets with full views of the harbor and a warm central fireplace.

    We celebrated my wife's birthday at Tavern House, and they absolutely treated us like royalty! The food and service were outstanding; we HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Newport and we will definitely be back. Thank you to the staff!

    It was the first time we have been to the Tavern House. The food was amazing and the view of the harbor wonderful. There was a party with 8 ladies and it was quite loud, but they were having a great time, so you can’t be upset about that. Our server was Natalia and she was lovely. We will definitely come back.

    I had the prime rib dip . It was not great. It was just like a regular French dip sandwich with too many onion, straws, and too much melted mozzarella. My husband had the stroganoff it was very plain he only ate a quarter of it .

    This was our 1st time back from when this was restaurant 333. On this visit on our visit, Nora was our server. What a hoot she ordered appetizers, chard Brussel sprouts, garlic bread, and a fillet with bernase sauce yummy. Main course buttermilk fried chicken and prime rid dip sandwich. Our desert chocolate souffle this will take 30 minutes to prepare, but it is worth the wait. Valet parking only available $6 plus tip.

    I have been enjoying dining here for years. I especially love the view and the service has always been wonderful! The food is amazing and never disappointa! I highly recommend Tavern House!!

    The food was very good, but no substitutions. What is on the menu is what you get with no changes. The servers were very nice, but very slow, and never came to check until we were almost finished.

    Our favorite lunch spot in Newport Beach. The service from valet parking to wait staff are great. The food is consistently excellent.
