Artistically designed with unique sculptures, Javier's Crystal Cove provides guests with ocean views in a cozy, contemporary atmosphere to enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine. It opened its doors in 2008 on Newport Beach and is conveniently close to the Crystal Cove Shopping Center. This restaurant offers guests an upscale dining experience with such entrees as the Maine lobster enchilada topped with Monterey jack cheese and grilled chicken breasts braised in chipotle sauce. Javier's Crystal Cove serves a variety of fresh seafood dishes, appetizers and delicious desserts. It has a full bar that features numerous tequilas, cocktails, beers and wine. Javier's Crystal Cove also offers outdoor dining. It accepts reservations over the phone and online.

I typically love Javier’s, but we found a huge shard of glass in our enchilada. They did comp the meal, but for this type of place, it’s unacceptable.

The Javier's Crystal Cove location is stunning. The patio is especially nice because of the view and fun ambiance. The table for our large party was spacious and comfortable. Our server was excellent!! Our drinks were top tier. Everyone in our party loved their food. This is an excellent place for a date or celebration.

Had a reservation at 8:30 pm for 3. Someone in my party had an emergency and could not make it. They told me I had to wait 30 min for them to get me a table. 40 minutes later they still didn’t have a table however they were seating multiple parties before me. I asked to speak to the manager and told him I can buy enough food for 3 people, where is the table I originally booked. He said “I’ll help you.” He then talks to the girl checking people in and says I can give you 2 seats at the bar. All this happened after I told him we are celebrating a birthday as indicated on the original reservation. To top it all off his little ego got offended when I told him to stop touching me and holding me by the shoulder. He walked away and said “I can’t help you anymore.” What a clown! 🤡 They finally seated us right by the entrance. Food was okay. Also they charged me for the “birthday dessert” which they provide for free for all the years I’ve come here. Message to ownership GET YOURSELVES A COMPETENT AND PROFESSIONAL MANAGER THAT DOES NOT FEEL THE RIGHT AND NEED TO TOUCH GUESTS AFTER THEY TELL HIM NOT TO DO SO!!!!

We went to Javier’s Crystal Cove to celebrate my daughter’s 25th birthday. It was a Thursday night and they very busy. We waited about 30 min for our table despite having a reservation. Our waiter, Francisco, and his team were excellent. I recommend Kobe Bryant’s signature cocktail, the Black Mamba. Overall it was a nice experience ( not our first at Javier’s) although we found it significantly pricier than the last time we were there. Be prepared , if is a loud environment, a place for celebration more than a spot for an intimate dinner date.

Excellent service, excellent food. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. We each had a Javier’s margarita and it was excellent. My husband has the lobster enchilada and I had the crab one. Both entrees were terrific. Highly recommend dining here. It is very busy and very noisy. It is Javier’s after all.

Most enjoyable very busy place great setting good tasty food. Good waiter. Bit too noisy hard to hear my friends.

Unique and exciting atmosphere. Definitely a go-to spot. Food was tasty and the service was nice. Would come again.
