A great restaurant where you get the feeling they truly welcome you. Food is wonderfully prepared, tasty and fairly priced. Specials are outstanding. Our server was a seasoned pro who made our dinner experience very pleasant. Not pretentious, simply comfortable and tasty.

Food was excellent and the service prompt and efficient. Parking is currently a challenge on busy evenings. The ambiance is ordinary. Go for the food and service, not for the environment. Cost is somewhat high but expected in Orange County. Recommended for a good meal but there are better choices for true "high end" experience.

It’s our favorite restaurant, we look forward to coming every week. The food is phenomenal and the service is incredible. Feels like you’re having dinner with family. So happy we moved and found this hidden little gem

The Baronne family reopens at a new facility, with an old world charm, combined with known quality of product and service. Tried their restaurant at its new location on coast Highway with a dear friend last Sunday, the three of us enjoyed all all of Franco‘s handmade pastas, Rich and heartwarming, sauces and delivered by experienced authentic Italian servers who make us feel like we are back in Italy as we enjoy our meal. Highly recommend, I also worry by sharing this that it’s just going to make it harder to get into when I try to return. It is one of the three best Italian restaurants in all of Southern California in my opinion.

So grateful to be back and trying the newer location! Still the Il Barone I miss and love so much, no longer living here. From impeccable service and fresh and delicious food. It is always coming home here!

First time dining there! Food was absolutely amazing! I’m Sicilian so know good Italian food. This was definitely a 10. Service was also outstanding. I had the stuffed gnocchi which were lthe most delicious soft, pillow pasta I’ve ever had!! I’m so happy I ordered them. The canoli was good but a little too flaky crust. I prefer a little thicker and harder but the cream filling was very traditional. I will definitely be going back there at some point. The owner, Donatella, was lovely and we discovered we are both from Modica, Sicily 🇨🇮

Fantastic food and hospitality! The pasta dishes are made with care and are bursting with flavor. The restaurant also offers a variety of other unique Italian dishes such as their stuffed cheese bread with prosciutto and truffle oil, and pork chop milanesa. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu.

My favorite Italian restaurant in OC🥰🫶🏻 Today I took my mom and nephew for dinner. My little nephew loved his pasta and my mom enjoyed every second of hers ♥️Thank you so much Donatella for such a great service. Francesco was our server he was awesome and very attentive as usual!.
