Nothing special. Prices were higher than they should have been for the food we had. If tje good was 70% of tje proce my review would be mu h better.. Overall decent food, bad value.

It was Fathers day and our waiter Edgar abandoned us I spoke to the Manager and all he did was comp one dinner For Italian go to Monteverde Worst experience to date!!

Excellent food. Service was a bit too quick. We had planned to get a dessert after our drinks but the bill was presented before we had opportunity to order (less than 50 mins in restaurant) came for an experience. Sadly felt rushed.

My party of 3 arrived 15 minutes before our reservation so we had a drink at the bar. The restaurant was busy including the outdoor tables. Nice variety of dishes on the menu. Service was great. Food was very good and portions were large. My party ordered the meat lasagna, chicken vesuvio, pork chop calabrese, and a shareable side side of broccolini. All excellent. Can’t wait to go back.

We make sure to go to Rosebud on Rush every time we are visiting from California as it is probably the most authentic and homemade Italian food you will find in the city! Highly recommend the 8-finger homemade cavatelli and chicken parmigiana.

We loved the fact that we could eat outside, and we loved the service we received from our server. However, there was a table next to us with four very loud women, and it was difficult for the four of us to hear each other at our table! Obviously not the restaurant fault, but it did affect our rating. As for the food, my friend ordered the lamb lollipops and took one bite and didn’t finish them because she thought they tasted strange. My pasta dish was very mediocre. I’ve had it at other restaurants and I was looking forward to having it last night, but it was so blah that I only ate about a third of it. My husband enjoyed the sausage with his spaghetti and meatballs, but thought the meatballs were just fair. The drinks were good! Sorry I could not give this a higher rating because it was my husband’s birthday and we were looking forward to last night.

The portions of our entrees are supersized. From the appetizers to the main course the food was delicious. And the service was exceptional.

The food was absolutely wonderful. The Cavatelli 8-finger pasta and chicken parmigiana was incredible. The portion size is perfect! We come here every time we are in Chicago.

Great food and service! Our server Alexa was wonderful. She was super friendly, knows the food and wine menu well, and carefully explained all the specials and if we could split items. The food was fabulous! I had the Seabass Piccata, it was cooked to perfection. My partner had the Orecchiette with Italian sausage and broccolini. It was fabulous too. All the portions are huge. To sit outside under the awning in the summer is divine! The manager came by to check on us. He said the cook has been there for 18 years! It feels like a family run restaurant. I love it there!
