   The flavor profile of each cocktail and every dish was just superb. Chef put care into creating the menu and crafting each dish and it was a fantastic cuisine experience. We had to get dessert just because we could tell that would be uniquely enjoyable!

   We were greeted and seated promptly! Our server, a younger gentleman, was very friendly, engaging and attentive. He was especially kind to my pre-teen and teen daughters, and this isn’t always the case, even though they frequently enjoy fine dining. Our starters and cocktails were delicious. We had mains from the pasta offerings, as well as the pork tenderloin. Everything was well seasoned, cooked to ordered temperature and very flavorful! We ordered a solid bottle of Malbec from a thoughtful and reasonably priced wine list, which had offerings by the glass and bottle. This is our second visit to Station. It was better than the last and we will be sure to return and recommend!

   I read reviews prior to our visit. Many of them noted some of the entrees were very salty. We expierenced the same thing. I had the pork tenderloin and it was prepared to perfection. The seasoning on the brussal sprouts was very salty. Good thing I take medication for high blood pressure 😳. The noise level in the restaurant was high even though the restaurant wasn’t even half full. I thought the prices were higher than average. Between the salty entrees, the noise level and the prices, maybe that’s why the restaurant was less than half full on a Saturday evening. If it were my restaurant I’d address the first two items I mentioned.

    I always want to like it here, but it's always a little disappointing. Drinks were excellent, food was sub-par for the price. Some things taste good, some don't but in fixable ways not just personal preference (e.g. way too salty veg, or nearly tasteless dessert). Wound up spending 150 for a dinner for two that I think would have been better priced around 80 for what you get.

    We got the bread to start, and for entrees, we had the chicken and sausage and pork tenderloin. Everything was delicious and beautifully prepared. The chicken was moist and flavorful. The Brussel sprouts served with the pork were a highlight. For dessert, we'd recommend the popcorn panna cotta, a great balance of salty and sweet.

    Station didn't have our table ready when we arrived right at our reservation time, 7:45pm. The food menu on the website did not separate lunch and dinner, but the dinner menu at the restaurant did not include burgers, which is what I wanted. The service was slow, and we didn't get water until 15-20 minutes after being seated. It was just 3 of us at a table. Appetizers and food continued to take a considerable time to get to the table, and dessert came out right around 9:40. While the food was tasty, it was overpriced ($15 for a bread appetizer, for example).

    We thought that the servers were very friendly. The atmosphere is great for a drink. Food wise it was not our cup of tea. The liver mousse was good and its crackers as well. We had an appetizer with eggplant that was not our favorite. Then we had the tagliatelle and it was overly salty. The alcohol free drink was good. And my husband also had some kind of whisky. We would like to see this restaurant evolve successfully. Hopefully the dishes will mature and it becomes a staple in the hood.

    The food was delicious ! The pacing of the service was a little quick with mains being delivered to the table before we’d finished our pre dinner cocktail. Wanted a glass of wine with dinner and hate to wait an unreasonable amount of time for that and balance not finishing my entree before it came. Roasted swordfish was excellent as was the lavender pound cake. Husband had the pork tenderloin and it was also very good. Nice cocktail list. Overall a little pricey but worth it. I recommend giving it a try for sure!

    Looking for a new restaurant, we came across Station. Our criteria for new places is that they have at least one vegetarian option, and Station fit the bill. We are so glad we gave this restaurant a try! We were pleasantly surprised to find that the menu in the restaurant had more options than what we'd seen online. The food was OUTSTANDING. We shared two appetizers: the smoked squash and the celery soup. The soup was creamy and delicious (could have been a touch warmer for my taste, but my husband thought it was perfect). The squash was perfectly cooked and seasoned with just the right amount of smokiness, but the whole dish was elevated by the puree and pickled rhubarb. We chose the two vegetarian pasta dishes as our entrees, and they were both cooked al dente with amazing sauces (pesto on one and carrot bolognese on the other). Upon asking for a dessert recommendation, we were suprised that our attentive server Richard was working his first ever shift and hadn't tried any desserts yet. Someone get this man a piece of Lavender Pound Cake, because that is what he recommended by the looks of it and it was a lovely ending to an amazing meal. We will definitely be back!

    The menu didn't have much to choose from. The online menu was why we made a reservation there. They didn't have the same menu when we arrived and were out of a few things too. We ordered from what was remaining and it wasn't worth what we paid. Basically $80 for lots of bread. Ha ha

    Everything about it was exceptional. Curtis is an outstanding chef, constantly pushing himself to create delicious and beautifully-plated dishes. The atmosphere is wonderful. The revamped decor is gorgeous. Definitely one of the top restaurants not only in Pittsburgh, but in the US.

    Food was fabulous, as usual. Lunchtime Restaurant Week prix fixe was a great deal. Service from Jessie was EXCELLENT, 4 stars given only because the poor girl was taking orders, running food, bussing AND tending bar alone. Did a great job and certainly not her fault they were a bit understaffed. It’s a sign of the times🤷🏻‍♀️ Kudos to Jessie! Wait for entrees was very long, but we had nowhere to be so not a problem. Loved the music track! This was my 3rd or 4th visit there, first trip post-Covid, and it did not disappoint. HIGHLY recommend.

    Came for the Restaurant Week lunch special. Have never been to Station- smaller than expected, with a few tables on one wall + bar seating. Noted their outdoor seating for warmer days. My friend and I both chose a chicken liver mousse appetizer, tagliatelle pasta, and panna cotta dessert- all were excellent. Service was slightly slow, but we were in no rush. Everything arrived freshly made and delicious! The lunch price was very reasonable for a quality meal. Will return again.

    Cool atmosphere. Friendly staff. Our food was very good. The wings were delicious. My draft beer could have been colder. That would be my only complaint. I will be returning for sure.

    This was an outstanding meal…started with a beautiful presentation of chicken liver mousse, flanked by slabs of house made crackers and pickled green beans…delicious and arresting. I had Carrot Bolognese, my husband scallops with gnocchi…we finished with panna cotta with caramel popcorn…what a treat! It’s a small, bar high quality bar list…this place is a winner! We will definitely go again soon and take others with us!

    Great restaurant on so many levels. Delicious, inventive, good ambience. They've changed the dinner menu up a bit and no longer offer their burger on the diner menu which is a BIG BUMMER. It's one of the best burgers in town and not everyone can get there for lunch. PLEASE ADD IT BACK TO YOUR DINNER MENU!

    Love the concept and they have a great team but our dishes were severely over salted and underwhelming, though believe there’s potential. You can hear that the kitchen is managed well and on task as it is intimate (a positive). The dining area is tight and they maximize the space allotted. The celery soup is a deconstructed experience but there are a number of competing elements that make the dish conflicting. The dry ingredients arrive at the base of the bowl and then the soup is poured over the top. Nice presentation but it is unclear whether it aims to be a soup or a warm muesli that needs time to meld. You could use a spoon or a fork with this dish depending on preference. The swordfish has potential but the salting removes attention from the dish. The fennel would probably do better with less of a cook and the homemade gnocchi could use a bit more sauté to give a bit more texture to the plate. Not sure how the corn complements with it’s natural sweetness. The presentation hides what should be the star of the dish, the swordfish. It is visually camouflaged with the gnocchi, fennel, and corn and comes across as a presentation of casserole/stew than something more elevated. It seems the kitchen is trying too hard rather to impress with a number of competing ingredients when it may make more sense to take a ‘less is more’ approach.
