We order 2 G&T and got straight Gin, we order seafood dumplings, and the filling was just a mass of something that had had no semblance of seafood. We ordered Crispy Snapper and got some other snapper dish. The wines were sub-par. For $21 a glass I think boxed wine would have been a better choice. We could not even finish the wine it was that bad. We asked for the check, and we were charged for the plate we did not order. This was corrected once we mentioned it, but we should not have had to do it.

Took my boyfriend before a concert. It was his first time in and I hadn’t been in a year or so. The food was not as good as it had been in years past. I was very disappointed with the Szechuan fried chicken. The meat was awful- tough and stringy. Almost inedible. The dumplings were not very good either. Some greasy and some dry. Very disappointing.

Our server Morgan was an absolute delight. Yes the food was delicious but she made our experience so much better, thank you Morgan!

The restaurant is beautiful and the dumplings are delicious! We ordered the Tangerine Peel Beef and the Scallion Hugging Bear. I really wanted to love it, but it just lacked enough flavor. If they had added just a little more sweetness to their tangerine peel beef and more flavor to their scallion beef, it would’ve been outstanding. I would definitely go back for their dumplings, and perhaps their chicken entrees may be more flavorful.

I love Chinese / Asian food but my husband is gluten sensitive. Chinese / Asian restaurants are usually not accommodating gluten sensitive eaters. It gets tiring asking waiters/waitresses: which dishes are gluten free, they say let me check the kitchen, and they get back minutes later usually telling us, very little dishes are gluten free. Wu Chow totally accommodates gluten sensitive eaters . I love going here. I don't have to worry about ordering special dishes for my husband. His favorite dish is the Cumin Lamb. Mine are the Fried Green Beans and the Salt and Pepper Squid. But really, I like all the ones we tried so far. We are sad when the Rosedale location was closed. But glad we still have the option to go to the downtown location. We'll be coming back!
