The bottom line is that this is a great place for a drink, horrible place to eat. Trying sooo hard to be "the Hamptons" while forgetting they are in SAG HARBOR. Attitude from the minute you walk in and nothing to back it up. Food - Huge prices are expected, but the quality and portions are just not there. Bobby Van's, Pierre's and Almond a few minutes away in Bridge are in the same price ballpark, but the quality and size crush this place. $24 for a few fried pieces of shrimp and a scallop (which by the way they increase prices by 50%! during the season vs. their online menu - lame.) Page at 63 Main is such a better choice if you are in Sag. Again, no view, but grab a drink at Harlow, then get out! Service - I have eaten all over the East End, and understand the concept of "Summer Staff", but this place takes ambivalence to a whole new level. I get it, you are hung over from the party you went to last night, but you can at least have the courtesy to say "please" and "thanks" to the people who you expect to leave you 20% of an overpriced tab. Overall this place is just lazy. Lazy with its food, its service and attitude and living off of its view. It will survive a season or two based on its weekend seasonal bar scene, but will never make it based on locals or even seasonal locals visiting more than once. It's a true shame that this location was wasted.

The harbor view is the best thing about this restaurant. Small portions of mostly good food. High prices and a totally uninterested and untrained staff. With the prices they charge they should be welcoming you and not making you feel that you are being ripped off.

Most places in the Hamptons are way over priced for average food and bad service. This place is an exception. Food is a tad bit pricey but considering the location and views, worth the treat. Great deck seating with views of the boats in Sag Harbor. Good service and decent portions for food.

Solid food. Friendly and attentive wait staff. Food a bit overpriced. Much improved over the poorly run B Smith's that lived off of the location, I suspect.

The staff was friendly but into over selling the scene that is THE HAMPTONS. We have been coming out here forever and are very knowledgeable on the ins and outs and chose Harlow because we needed something that could take us early and close to the Bay Street theater. The food was mediocre and the waiter only wanted to treated us like we were tourists looking for Kardashians. Overall the table was on the beautiful patio and the weather was unbeatable but the food was fair at best and we over ordered after asking multiple times if 4 entrees and 2 appetizers was too much for 4 women (it was way too much) who were also drinking. Would I go back? Yes but probably for light apps and wine to kill time before a real dinner somewhere else where I know the food is better for way less money.

Worst service in the Hamptons. Food was fair, prices were exorbitant. House Rose, at $18 was awful. McDonalds style hamburger. What a disappointing evening at one of the great settings in the Hamptons. Can't wait for the next restaurant to take the lease.

It is a beautiful building and the outdoors setting is great. The chairs outdoors need to be replaced with more substantial seats. They are very uncomfortable. The food is okay, not great, however it is pricey and the portions are insufficient. I was hungry when I left the restaurant. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
