    Delicious! Our group had the crab cake sliders, shrimp pasta, and crab corn bisque, and it was all wonderful. The beignets were a tasty finisher. The waiter was so nice and attentive even with the busy time. The atmosphere is cute and nostalgic.

    We could not have been more pleased. Our party of eight was seated at a round table where we could all talk and hear one another. We ordered several appetizers for the table, each of which was large enough to share with everyone. The spinach and artichoke dip was the best I've ever had, and the debris was served so our vegetarian members could enjoy part of it without meat. Our waitress made excellent recommendations, including telling us that certain dishes were not worth the price. Drinks were kept full, food was filling and fulfilling, and the atmosphere was fun. We had vegetarian, gluten-free, and garlic-free requests, and all were met.

    Everything seemed fine until the next morning. My husband had the roast beef poboy and I had the shrimp poboy. We were both sick as dogs the next morning. He was in bed for a day, me for almost three. Whatever is going on in that kitchen needs to be reevaluated and training in proper food handling needs to be done.

    Arrived for a business meal. Hostess was extremely friendly and seated us immediately. We noticed only 1 server. She was very friendly but clearly busy. Ordered drinks which took awhile. The bar was out of the local can seltzers which was fine. Ordered the fries as an appetizer…arrived cold so had to reorder. Once arrived hot they were very good. Wanted to order the shrimp but they were completely out of shrimp…interesting. Ordered the redfish which was excellent. Ordered a cup of the gumbo which arrived cold…so it was heated up and was good. I would probably return but a little disappointed.

    Food was fresh and delicious! In New Orleans for a conference and found myself initially disappointed but this restaurant redeemed my feelings towards NOLA food. Friendly service and beautiful ambience.

    Really lovely breakfast menu with an attentive staff and great drinks. Good coffee, good cocktails, excellent beignets. Group of 4 were in and out in a little over an hour on a Saturday morning.

    Service was good once they can and welcomed us. Took about 15 minutes for them to greet us, but we weren’t in a hurry. The server was great, but she was busy with too many tables, so not her fault. She did an excellent job. Food was great and flavorful. Some unique items only found in New Orleans. Great family place.

    Great food just a couple short blocks away from the really touristy places off Canal Street. Great sandwiches and apps. Not busy at all on a week night. Worth a try.

    My daughter and I met my best friend for dinner, and we picked Legacy. The food was great, the seating comfortable, and the noise level appropriate. And while our server was a nice guy - he had way too many tables to be efficient. Our drinks were empty more than they were filled, he was often gone for over 10 minutes at a time, and once we ordered, the food came out sporadically. If we were in a rush, I would have left before our food came.

    I love Legacy Kitchen and have visited all the locations. I still miss the Metairie location. I went on Mother's day and my server was very nice but they seemed understaffed. Service was very slow. Took more than 20 min to receive my drink. Never received the appetizer I ordered. The server advised while bringing the entree that the appetizer had to be remade but at that point I cancelled the appetizer. I always get and love the the chicken and waffles and they did not disappoint. My husband had the corn and crab soup and it was good but was lukewarm on delivery. I would go back but probably avoid going on a busy holiday as I attribute the slow service to that. Also it is noted on OpenTable that there is complimentary parking at the Renaissance hotel however was told that is not true. Took a long time to find a parking spot so that should be updated on this site.

    Three adults in early May 2023. Good service by Tiffany. We ordered club sandwich, pulled pork sandwich and roast beef po-boy. All good. Really enjoyed the truffle fries and the beignet bites.

    Food was not very good. Service was terrible. The meat was being, I returned it and they brought another piece and that was the same. They had me order something worse and that was the porch sandwich. It was fatty and the bread was so soggy it was falling apart. The waiter never checked on us. The only good part was the other staff were amazing. The place has a cool vibe. They didn’t charge for the sandwich.

    Had a great experience at Legacy. I was in New Orleans for a big conference at the convention center. First, Legacy is within walking distance from the convention center. Second, they take reservations. Third, the staff was so friendly! And fourth, the food was fresh and so tasty! We had a shrimp po boy, fries, and gumbo. All were delicious and the shrimp were so fresh. It’s a cute place too. I would 100% go back here.

    We had a mixed experience. Some of our party really enjoyed their food where others did not at all. Service was not great (forgot a drink but charged us for it and then acted like it was our fault, generally acted like they didn't want us to be there). Disappointed overall.

    The food here was exactly what I was looking for. Lots of Cajun cuisine on the menu. Too many options to choose from. The cornbread skillet was great along with the crab cake sliders. I also had a small cup of gumbo was did not disappoint. My main dish was the red fish,which was very tasty, but my favorite was the shrimp pasta. Server was very good also. If you are looking for a good Cajun/ southern place away from bourbon st, you cannot miss this place.

    To be honest, we came here because we forgot to make reservations somewhere, there were multiple conventions in town so nearly every restaurant was booked. Being a bit off the tourist routes, this place had room for us. Are we ever glad we made the decision to eat here! Very nice atmosphere, which seems more upscale than the restaurant is...a nice change from so many restaurants that serve traditional fare at Michelin prices. The staff was pleasant and knew all about the menu on the items, and they didn't mind that we all needed separate cheques. We started with an dip that was incredible. Warm, cheesy, and crispy chips. There were four of us, but the serving was enough that we didn't finish it. I had a traditional club, and it was just that, thank goodness. I don't like something branded a "club" that is really just a sandwich . This was a traditional club, and it was delicious. I also asked for my fries to be crispy, and they WERE! I often have to ask to send the fries back to make them crispy. Legacy got them right the first time! You will not be disappointed.

    My sister and I had just arrived at our hotel located in the Warehouse/ Arts District. We were starving. I checked on a few restaurants on the list provided by the hotel but they were either not open or had no reservations til later. I went on the Open Table app and discovered this restaurant. It was close, the menu looked good and I could make a reservation. We walked over and was greeted by this very welcoming hostess. I told her I had reservations and she called out my name. She seated us, handed us menus and told us the name of our waitstaff Reginik who arrived quickly. She brought water and asked about drinks-my sister a diet soda and I a Sazerac which was very tasty. We had questions about items and asked Reginik what she liked. She was very helpful. I ordered the fried chicken breast and waffle and my sister the shrimp and Grits. Both were so tasty. My chicken was not greasy or salty and had a nice crust. The waffle with bacon pieces was delish. My sister said that was the best shrimp and Grits she's ever had. They were also not salty and the gits were very creamy like mashed potatoes. My sister asked me for a dessert menu. Our waitstaff was not available so I went to the hostess stand and met James who said he was one of the managers. He was very friendly and I asked if there was a dessert menu. He said there was not a written one but then told me the list of items. I asked him to come to the table and recite the list as I would forget and he did. We chatted a while and then left. It was a very nice experience and I highly recommend this establishment. The food we had was great and we highly recommend it.

    Waitress was very attentive and our food came out at a nice pace. The gumbo was good but it was lukewarm in temperature. My ahi tuna salad was very very good- was exactly what I wanted and I was happy that they offered it on the menu
