We went to the Boathouse (Short Pump) to have happy hour food and drinks before a comedy show. We were very impressed with the happy hour menu selections and price points. They offer more than your typical wings and sliders. We had calamari, crab and artichoke dip and hush puppies. We added dessert for added fulfillment. The portions were great for sharing. The cocktails, although flavorful, were not buzz worthy. Overall great experience. We will be returning.

Crab cakes have gotten smaller and was disappointed that I couldn’t change out side asparagus for spinach as done on previous visit. Special note that spinach was a dollar cheaper. Was forced to pay 8.00 for side order of spinach.

We wanted to try something different for Father’s Day so we’re tried the buffet special. Some of the food was cold, there wasn’t enough of a variety, the waitress didn’t come and check on drinks very frequently which didn’t make sense because the restaurant wasn’t full. $70 a person wasn’t validated on this occasion. This is usually one of our favorite places to eat but super disappointed in this occasion.

The buffet food was cold. We will not go back to the Boathouse.

Our entrees were mediocre. The shrimp and hushpuppies were over cooked. The crab cakes were cold and full of filler that fell apart when you tried to cut into the cake. The filet was overdone and dry. Overall, very disappointing.

We had the crab dip, crab cakes, filet, fish fry and the crab cake sandwich. Everything was perfect and our waitress was on top of drinks and food, amazing job! I’ve been to a lot of restaurants for seafood and fish and I was very pleased with everything, which is typically not the case. Very pleased.

Got right in even though we arrived earlier than our reservation time. Waitress was great and attentive. Food was all excellent and the kids menu is a bonus! The modern vibe and great music definitely make it a great date night as well.

1 entree was barely warm and another was wrong. Third was fine. Server notified but nothing done.

Food was mediocre at best. Steak was overcooked, and several items came out almost cold. Kids noodles were like rubber. Drinks were good and our service was good. Nice sitting close to the open windows.

Very nice brunch. We visit for brunch approximately every month and are happy with the food quality and server attentiveness. I had an omelet today that was the tiniest bit salty but extremely tasty and well prepared. My husband had a biscuit basket with a side of egg which he very much enjoyed.
