Like his mentor Emeril Lagasse, Toups gives Cajun classics a sophisticated spin with signature dishes like a double-cut pork chop with dirty rice and cane syrup gastrique. A rustic-chic space with a shaded plant-decked patio, pitch-perfect wines, and an extensive bourbon collection add to the lively vibe—just as a New Orleans restaurant should be.

            The food, drinks and service was excellent. I asked for suggestions from our server and was not disappointed! We got the charcuterie board and that was plenty filling for the two of us who were not very hungry for a full entree. The charcuterie board was perfect because it gave us a taste of a lot of different items from the sides you could order. We do not normally like pate but finished this one! The special way it’s prepared made it not so gamy tasting, but delicious! I would have loved to bring home some cucumber and squash pickles and the whole seeded mustard but they don’t sell it for the pantry. Chef, I hope in the future you would sell them. We will just have to come back for more!❤️❤️🙏🏼 Deliciously, well done!

            Our table had the lamb, chicken seafood con. And the cobb salad. All were excellent The turkey neck appetizers and the fried gizzard were awesome.

            Really amazing food after a day at Jazzfest. Waitress made fantastic suggestions with food and wine pairings. We ordered the meatery platter, the special bone marrow and pork belly appetizers, turkey necks, venison and crab salads. Great neighborhood vibe!

            What a fantastic restaurant. I was even lucky enough to meet Chef Toups!! When I sat and saw the menu and the server suggested the burger saying best in New Orleans… I was hesitant to order a burger when I’ve been looking forward to this restaurant for so long. But it is absolutely the best burger I ever had.

            Always a pleasure to eat at Toups. Had their amazing head cheese, followed by seafood courtboullion. Sat outside on a lovely evening
