Our server was amazing. She knew it was a special occasion and brought extra appetizer. All of the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Food was amazing with steaks cooked perfectly as specified. All food was warm and timed to arrive all at the same time.

Outstanding quality of food, and drink as well as outstanding service by Alonso. We ordered salmon, steak, fries, and asparagus. The servers and staff have professional training and are dedicated to their job. This was an excellent birthday dinner and we will definitely return.

Our food was outstanding, from sides to entrées to the dessert, it was all simple over the top! We were celebrating a birthday and they made our person feel very special! We had a reservation, but we still had to wait for 20 minutes for our table! We got a drink in the bar, but it was so small there was no place to stand without being in the way of servers, which became very annoying! It was also so loud in the restaurant we had trouble hearing our servers and each other - there were several large parties. The food made up for this, but they could do better in these two areas.

Love that it’s an upscale steakhouse but doesn’t feel stuffy - They we’re playing good music and at a higher level than you’d expect at such an establishment but not in a bad way, in a fun way. We’ll definitely be going back. Pro tip: Get the A5 wagyu… Trust me!

We had to return the cocktails as they were basically just alcohol, neither of us could drink them....server was nice but too busy so we had a lot of "extra time" on our hands during the dinner. Steak was very good but the desert was a joke...sugary sponge cake with some "strawberry cream"...pathetic! Been to this place many times and was never disappointing so I sure hope this was an exception rather than a new trend as we both left totally disappointed...

We dined at Jay’s table on a Monday evening. From the very beginning we could tell how special Jay was and that our dining experience would be wonderful. Jay was attentive in just the right way, accommodated our request to switch our table (the host said we couldn’t but Jay worked his magic), made great recommendations, and surprised us with dishes from start to finish. Jay made our night! The food at Arthur J is indeed good but Jay made the evening one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a while. Ask for Jay when you visit. You won’t be disappointed.

We visited for an early Mother’s Day dinner. As always, the food was great. The shrimp cocktail was delicious, the steaks were cooked perfectly and extremely flavorful, the broccolini was a standout, and the drinks were delicious. Despite the recent proliferation of steakhouses in the South Bay, the Arthur J continues to be the standard bearer.

The A5 wagyu was the best steak my husband and I have ever had. The steak sampler would have been the best steaks I’ve ever had, but then I had the wagyu. Mind blowing. The wedge salad was really good. The mashed potatoes and mushrooms were very basic. The cocktails were bad. The espresso martini was undrinkable. The ambience was very crowded and cramped. And loud. Our server Jessica was wonderful, she was so attentive and beyond great. I’d go back just for the steak and salad and be very happy.
