   I gave a lower rating for the value as the prices on the wine and food are too high. The wine is good, but not "high end" Napa/Sonoma quality and should be priced accordingly. The side salad was extremely small and overpriced as well.

   The food was very good. How ever, we had to wait for one hour and thirty minutes to get our main entree. There was only two of us at dinner and the waiter did not tell us we could order from the main menu rather than ordering from the Mother's Day menu. We arrived a 6:30 pm and left the restaurant after 9:30 pm. I know this day was a holiday or special occasion, but this length of time was too long for a meal.

   Typically a good restaurant but we left 25 mins into our reservation on Mother’s Day because we had not gotten any service.

   We went for Mother's Day and after almost 3 hours we ended up leaving with our cold food in containers. The menu was a fixed menu and the staff couldn't even keep up. It was one of the worst experiences I ever had in a restaurant. I felt horrible for my wife bc it was Mother's Day and our anniversary.

   Mother’s Day menu not clearly posted on Open Table. Very poor food choices for kids over 5 years old. Food was very cold. Not enjoyable at all. People walked out all day long unhappy with the fixed menu. Food took forever. It was worst experience ever for Maggianos and worst Mother’s Day lunch we ever had out :(.

   We were there for four hours and couldn't get beyond an appetizer. What a waste of time! They had a preselected menu that they failed miserably to execute. When we finally left, we were still waiting on the main entree we had ordered 2.5 hours earlier. Water had not been refreshed but once in four hours. This was not the Maggiano’s I expected to celebrate Mother's Day with my mother-in-law. What a shame and waste!

   It was Mother’s Day, so I know it was busy, but I’m a patient and understand person and I can honestly say this was one of my worst restaurant experiences ever. After being seated promptly for our reservation, we waited about 15-20 minutes before anyone came and brought us water. We were not informed when we made reservations that it would be a family-style fixed price (and mostly fixed items!) menu, so it was frustrating not to be able to order our menu choices—we had only a very limited entree list from which to choose—especially at the cost of $50+ per person. We waited 45 minutes for the “starter” tray with a few olives, slices of salami, pieces of Parmesan, and ciabatta. One in our party has life-threatening seafood allergies, so we discussed our concerns with the waitress knowing many of the fixed menu items would be inedible. We were told we had no choice but to be served fried calamari and fried zucchini (fried in the same fryer with the seafood, and therefore similarly inedible). After waiting yet another 45 minutes for these appetizers to be served, the one appetizer our party was looking forward to was meatballs. The meatballs did not come out with the other appetizers. When we asked about them, only then were we told the kitchen was out of meatballs. When I asked for marinara sauce for the calamari, we were told the restaurant was also out of marinara! The calamari was bland and rubbery without it. (They later brought 3 meatballs out with our entrees, which finally arrived after we had been seated for over two hours)! We had ordered chicken Parmesan as an entree, which came out with no noodles and no marinara (just the breaded chicken breast with a dollop of cheese), and steak medallions were quite underdone, as well. Even though our waitress was very kind and repeatedly apologetic, when we hit the 3-hour mark still waiting on dessert, we were completely exasperated. We asked for dessert to be packaged to go so we could be on our way.

   Our waitress did the best she could but the kitchen was sooooo slow and our food came out of order or not at all and anything we did get was overcooked. Slow, painful experience. We miss the old Maggianos. It has gone down hill and we won't be back!

   We dined on Mother’s Day with the set menu. This was a disaster. The kitchen got backed up right away (we were the first reservation of the day) and it went downhill from there! They would have been better off just sticking with the regular menu. Our server handled it well but everyone there was frustrated including servers and customers alike. Would not suggest going during the set menu occasions.

    this was our third family event held at Maggianos. The location is good for our family members, and who doesn't like italian food? The family menu is fun and filling, with a pretty good selection served for everyone, including dessert. This event was on a graduation day for the large university in the City, so the place was mobbed. At first our service was fabulous, but eventually our waitress was bogged down with too many tables, and we were very late to the graduation event. As service slowed, the main course was served a bit cold........so that the sauce on the pasta was a bit congealed, and the shrimp was cooked to death. So, we had a great time, but I would not rave about the food.........and the noise was awful, as is the case in most restaurants these days. So sad to sit with family members, having to yell across the table. Just have to say the waitress was fabulous, attending to every needs with unbelievable grace and effort.
