How do you take a classic staple of American dining, the steakhouse, and break down the traditional thinking to create something entirely new and exciting? That was the question that acclaimed chef and restaurateur Sam Marvin (creator of the much-celebrated Los Angeles restaurant Bottega Louie) posed when he decided the time was right to reinvent what has long been the trademarks of the steakhouse genre – masculine vibe, dark rooms, fancy waiters, slabs of oversized beef and overly expensive pricing. The answer became Echo & Rig Butcher and Steakhouse, located at the charming Tivoli Village just off of Summerlin Parkway; 15 minutes from the famed Las Vegas Strip.

    2nd visit. Brought my husband here after a terrific dining experience with my daughters in May. Staff is friendly, food is good. But we were seated against the wall. Not pleasant, too hot , too loud, worst seat in the restaurant. Very disappointed because I made reservation 2 weeks prior and other parties of 2 were seated in the regular tables throughout the dining room.

    We always get good service at Echo & Rig Also , we had a free anniversary dessert last night w/ ice cream and blackberries ! Some cake with it Thanks !

    Had a fabulous experience celebrating my sons birthday ! Javier the manager and our server Marcos were accommodating. Wish we had a table closer to the window. It was very busy but the service didn’t fail

    This is one of my top steakhouses. Their food and service is always top tier. I only wish they seasoned their steak besides salt n pepper or have an option available . Their steaks are always cooked perfectly! The sides and salads are amazing too!

    This was a very good dining experience. The service was impeccable; our server answered several questions regarding different cuts of meat, was professional yet friendly, and was very good at allowing us to set the pace of the meal. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, the presentation was very appealing, and the serving size was more than adequate. We had two birthdays in our group, so at the end of the meal, each was brought a different dessert with a birthday candle to share. We have eaten here before and prefer patio dining, however because of the heat, we ate in the dining room where the noise level is very high - at times making conversation difficult. We will definitely return when we can return to the patio to dine.

    Went for lunch during Restaurant Week. The menu was limited, but the choices were very good. Echo and Rig does not disappoint.

    The food wasn’t as good as our previous visit. We ordered the ribeye medium and it was well. They also forgot to bring out the salad we ordered. Service started out strong then really diminished throughout our dinner. I’m not sure we will return as the amount spent did not match the service or food.

    It's a hot, loud restaurant. The food is bland and in small portions. I literally went to another restaurant after leaving and ordered more food. Worst experience I've had in a nice restaurant in over a decade. $180 dinner for me and my wife. Huge disappointment.
