   Our dinner was disappointing. This was my 2nd disappointing experience at this restaurant and had decided to give them another chance. We ordered an appetizer to share with our cocktails. It never came. We finished drinks and pushed glasses to the side and they weren't picked up. Our main dish came and we asked about the appetizer and then cancelled it. We shared the cheesecake for dessert and found it overly sweet with not much flavor otherwise. I won't likely go back, unfortunately, because it's such a great location for downtown things.

   Rating Sunday Brunch for Mothers Day. Realizing how few restaurants offered a Sunday Brunch but wanting a special meal for my mom…it was a total disappointment. Staff seems very nice but when seated initially so inattentive. It got better through the meal but by then the “good intentions” but poor delivery of the buffet became apparent. It wasn’t a Denny’s meal but for $50 it was less than satisfactory. I understand how difficult finding staff and cooks are right now but it was obvious the lack of training and thought that went into making a brunch special. Three buffet meals and 4 drinks was over $200 and you couldn’t help feel taken advantage off because of the occasion. Next year brunch at home and back to more consistent restaurants for dinner.

   My family and I went for Mother's Day brunch and it was actually very good, but the service was a little off. Our waitress seemed new so she didn't know a couple of things but she was very nice. The management seemed a little scattered with doing certain task so, that was a little distracting. Other than that, I would like to go back and try their lunch and dinner.

   We've been waiting for the chance to visit the restaurant all through their remodel and Covid. We enjoy The Taylor Street bar,but did not expect the menu to be so much the same on the restaurant side. The food was good, but the menu seemed limited. Service was very good. We will return, mainly because it is a lot quieter than the bar side, but generally I would prefer more menu options

   We dined before the symphony. Tuna dinner was very plain . The tuna appetizer was better but sliced vegetables were blah. Cocktail, wine, and dessert were good.

   Great place, the busier hours are kinda loud but not bad. I didn’t have to yell to be heard by my table. The drinks are strong and the service is great as long as the manager is there. Tony is amazing

    Service was good and polite. The NY Strip and Duck Breast was excellent. The steak had a little sauce on that wasn’t over powering in any way and added just little flavor, I enjoyed it. Crab cake was slightly little too salty, but not so much that I didn’t finish it. I would come again.

    All very good! Our Hostess and servers were attentive but not invasive. Food was fantastic (4 course Valentines set menu with 3 or 4 options each including veg pescatarian and meat). My only caution would be to avoid the table by the exit on a cold night.

    Right by the Schnitzer so great for reserving at 6 for a 7:30 show there. Food was yummy. Lots of atmosphere. Our wait person was perfect and larger table gratuity was already added which was great on splitting the bill and leaving.

    We asked our server to bring the salad before the main course. Instead of the salad arriving first , the main courses arrived first and were not as described by the server. The salad arrived after the main courses. The salmon did not have the lemon-thyme sauce. The braised beef entree had asparagus instead of Brussels sprouts. The scalloped potatoes were salty and overcooked with a tiny serving for the beef main course and a large serving for the salmon main course. When we complained to the General Manager, she basically failed to listen to our feedback and instead said she was doing her best and said she would comp the salad thinking this would be sufficient. Her demeanor lacked any understanding that the meal presentation was less than desired. She was not interested in customer feedback. We will not return and will not recommend this restaurant.

    The service was slow but our server did keep coming by to reassure us our drinks and food was coming soon. Overall the food was good but the change on the menu of not having fingerling potatoes to scallop potatoes and the scallop potatoes were unappetizing and cold.

    Nice to return to the replacement of Swank at the Paramount, one of our favorite restaurants before covid and their closure. Nice and more casual dinner at Taylor St than Swank. Delicious deviled eggs and a wonderful swiss and bacon fondue. Good Tavern burger though over cooked and dry. We should have sent it back but the truffle fries were perfect! Great, attentive service and still a great setting. Wonderful night. We'll definitely be back!

    My father and I stopped here and had dinner before attending an Oregon Symphony event. We were probably graded and seated. The food was excellent. They were a bit shortstaffed because they only had one person to work the entire dining area so that caused some small delays in service, but it was still decent service, considering that fact.

    Great service and atmosphere! Our food was fine but not delicious. My hamburger would have been better with one patty rather than two (soggy bun even after extracting second patty) and the honey on my husband's fried chicken made it just okay. Great Brussel sprouts. Good side salad with hamburger. Okay lemon square. Very good wine list. Will try again for breakfast.

    The wait staff were all pleasant and seem to be working very hard. I really wanted to like this place, however we will not be returning. We arrived for our 6 PM reservation- we needed to leave by 7:20 for a show at the Arlene Schnitzer – a two minute walk. Our waitress informed us that we would not have enough time to order an entrée because the kitchen “was slow.” We weren’t concerned but ordered from the appetizer menu to be safe. In retrospect I’m happy we didn’t order an entrée because the rest of the food was subpar. My fried chicken sliders were terrible, they were mostly bun and dried chicken and minuscule sauce. My daughters tuna ahi appetizer was serviceable. Even with the limited small plates we were pushing our time limit. We had 1 drink and asked for the check the minute the food arrived and barely made it to show time. It’s a great location and pretty atmosphere, but the food was awful, overpriced and the staff seemed overworked, overloaded with little direction.

    Good restaurant if you are staying at or near the Paramount hotel. Not a "destination" restaurant: i.e., I would not travel to eat here. Nice varied menu. Reasonably priced. Crab cake and seared tuna were very tasty. Pork chop was very good and was cooked perfectly. Only miss of the night was the Salmon. It was mushy and not particularly flavorful. They make a fantastic version of a Vesper called a Pink Vesper. Server was knowledgeable and friendly.

    All excellent except wedge salad seemed small relative to price. More non-alcoholic beer selections would be nice. Oregon is a pioneer in non-alcoholic beer brewing.

    The service from everyone in the restaurant was out standing! The cocktails were outstanding also. The only thing we didn’t care for was their version of a Margherita pizza. Not very flavorful, no fresh tomatoes and a scant amount of basil. Crust was ok. The pub burger was ok, probably wouldn’t order it again. Other then the disappointing food the service was great!
