    The atmosphere is very nice but the overall experience was disappointing. The drinks didn’t come until after the appetizers were finished, the service was inattentive, the food was fine but all four main dishes was bland and not special, yet pricey.

    Nice experience, seemed busy and maybe little short staffed. Waitress was great but working many tables. Expensive in my book.

    This review really only pertains to eating in the covered seating area and the bar menu, as we were not in the main restaurant (and the main restaurant was closed for the evening). The food was delicious. We enjoyed our shared and individual items. While the food was good, the service, was poor. Even getting water to the table took a long time. Then the initial drinks and first few orders took a really long time. Then there were mistakes with our food. And mistakes on our check. It wasn’t really busy, I’m sure everyone was tired after Mother’s Day brunch, but the poor service really colored our view of the restaurant, and detracted from the good food.

    Mother's Day brunch. Everything delicious, lots of choices, very friendly staff and service. We generally go here 4-6 times a year for various celebrations and each time has been wonderful.

    The menu seems to be back up to par again, as everything was good. We had: Fried Calamari with Thai Basil Dipping Sauce -- a wee bit spicy, but not too munch and not painfully so, just right. Grilled Prawns -- very tasty dish & cooked perfectly, and I believe there were 5 decent sized prawns so it was a nice amount. The veggies were delicious & cooked perfectly, though I could do without the whole onions & I'd prefer a little bit of broccoli over broccolini (but that's just my preference.) Grilled Angus Beef Tenderloin -- very good. Tahitian Vanilla Creme Brulee -- this was delightful & cooked to perfection. One of the best prepared creme brulees in town. Valrhona Chocolate Lava Cake -- very good & the person I was with liked this dessert best of the 2 we had (I preferred the creme brulee.) I'm still waiting to find a chocolate lava cake that actually oozes the inside chocolate filling

    we have always felt John Ash is a good choice, some changes: My wife and i received 4 mosquitos bites Steak was ordered Medium, received it well done and grain taste on the edges and center was medium. Higher prices, but understand the need to cover overhead expenses..
