The best french onion soup I have ever had. The whole meal was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is so romantic. Our server was so charming. Can't wait to go back.

This is an excellent, truly French restaurant. The owner is an excellent chef. The duck is always great and now they have added steak tartare (yeah)

Old school French food in all It's classic glory. The pate is outstanding and the cassoulet would make a Frenchman cry it was so good. The service is attentive without being over bearing. You can not help but think you are in a bistro in France

My favorite restaurant in the Hudson Valley! The food is always fabulous. The service is warm and attentive, without ever feeling intrusive. The meal is perfectly paced. The wine list is impressive, cocktails are well made. Portions are ample but not excessive. The classic escargot, the steak tartare, the salads, the steak, all were flawless. The tart tatin, pot de creme, key lime pie were perfect endings to the meal. One of the few remaining places where an after dinner espresso, rich and strong, will come with a piece of lemon zest on the side; where the servers will announce you need more bread without being asked; where crumbs are cleared from the table between courses; where, when they set down the check at the end of your meal, and say "no rush", they mean it.

We dined there to celebrate a birthday. The food was outstanding and the ambience was lively and bustling for a Saturday night. They were running behind with the seating as some earlier reservations were lingering, but the hostess, Yvonne gave us regular updates and secured the nicest table in the restaurant for us. The confit duck and lamb never disappoint. Our servers, Terry and the bartender Brian’s son, were fantastic!

A friend and I chose Le Canard Enchaine to celebrate our birthdays with lunch. As expected, the ambience was charming, our waiter courteous and helpful and our meals-consisting of gorgeous salads and to-die-for deserts, were delicious. Tasty glasses of wine topped off the celebration. This is the perfect destination for a delightful dining experience. Highly recommended.

The mussels were delicious, as well as The Tuna! My granddaughter had the most delicious! Short rib served over mashed potatoes with a port wine reduction! Service was exemplary! Highly recommend
