   Went there in a great mood and left in a bad one. The male waiter with longer hair in a bun was so rude. He seemed miserable that he had a job. Didn’t check in on us once after taking our order. We had to go inside looking for him for service.

   Had reservations for 6 in main dining room. Was called twice by restaurant to make sure I was coming. Upon arriving at South Draft I was told there were no tables available but they could give me one outside. UNACCEPTABLE!

   First visit here on 9/1/19 to celebrate my sisters birthday; dinner was good. I wish the service was better. ; maybe our server was new. Background music is loud where you can’t have a good conversation. Food menu was limited. It was more like a pub than restaurant menu.

   If you're a picky eater, be careful! I ordered the cordon bleu sandwich, because as the menu read, it was perfect. Then it arrived with coleslaw and pickles! When I inquired about returning it for a replacement, the waitress seemed shocked that it wasn't made according to the menu. But as someone who despises mayonnaise, I was looking forward to the sweet hot mustard... not coleslaw. On the plus side, the fries were great, it's got a great view of the ocean during the day and the music was entertaining.

    We always enjoy eating (and drinking) at Draft when we visit Mission Beach. They have a great selection of beers and a wide variety of types of food to choose from and the service has always been great. This time our group enjoyed the Draft Burger, Salmon Sandwich and Summer Salad. Given the overall good quality of the food, it seemed strange to me that, when one of our guests wanted chicken tenders, they were served those generic Dino-shaped nuggets you get at the grocery store. C'mon Draft, you can do better than that!

    This restaurant is located in Mission Beach and is a definite must if you want a restaurant that is located right on the boardwalk. It’s a very large restaurant with good food, service and people watching if you’re sitting at one of the tables near the boardwalk. In fact it’s one of the few restaurants with this type of location. If you haven’t been go there you’ll enjoy it!

    My friends and I like the location. Beer prices are reasonable given the location. Beer selection is very good. Service (Jeff) was very good. The food is mediocre. The menu needs to be rethought.

    22nd anniversary. Burger and chop salad were amazing. Sat by the boardwalk and enjoyed a beautiful evening. Just was very loud to try and talk.

    I loved Draft! We sat outside so we could have a beach view. Our waitress was amazing! Super friendly and had great recommendations. They have a lemon meringue pie sour on draft right now from Abnormal that is by far my favorite beer. Great place to enjoy a sunset and people watch. Great food as well!

    It took use over 10 minutes before our waitress brought us water and acknowledged us. After being seated in a spot that was blinding us with the sun we asked to be re-seated, and our first waitress was very rude about it. Then we had to wait AGAIN to receive a new table. It took way too long. The food was delicious but the staff needs to work in customer service!

    Busy St. Pat’s Day but we had reservations- hostess gracious and seated us perfectly. We were then ignored for about 10 minutes. Server finally greeted us with a warning that things were taking very long due to crowded conditions. Brought water and took order- St. Pete’s drink was awful (Pledge flavor). Came back to say one appetizer was no longer available and recommended another option. Original order was delivered by another- Outstanding Ribs!! Recommended dish also arrived shortly after (steak salad- meat good but salad was drowned in dressing). Was not charged for original appetizer but noticed a 3% “service fee” on bill.

    Excellent location on the beach. Good menu. Outstanding selection of beers. As other reviewers have noted, cold in the evening as the garage doors are open to the beach.

    Late supper - wine, beer and tapas style dining. Staff was great! A bit loud (confined indoors) which took away from ambiance. That said, I’d come here again because of great staff and solid food....

    Been here a few times - great food as always and a wonderful view of the Pacific Ocean. Garrett, our waiter, was efficient, kind & extremely helpful. Burgers & salads were OUR choice of lunch items, along with "draft" beers. Love this place - we have always had great luck here!!!

    Went here for cheaper meal. Big selection of beers. Service good. Food limited - as well as inside seating. I chose the chopped salad ( very good) and my husband the ribeye. It was way undercooked for medium, fatty. Beach sunset was awesome.

    we were not able to see the bay, which is the big draw here, but the industrial big open bar with huge TVs and fun lighting, comfortable little tables, made it a great place to get a delicious hamburger. The menu seemed like it had a good variety for light suppers and bigger entrees. Delicious array of beer. A good value

    Had a wonderful lunch with out of town friends who wanted a beach/ocean view. It was a weekday, so parking and availability was easier than I would expect for a weekend. Good selection of craft beers, and tasty food. I had the pistachio crusted salmon sandwich and found it very tasty. The aioli added a nice zing and provided a nice counter to the fries. Would definitely go again.

    Great food and beer selection right on the boardwalk in mission beach. Perfect spot to people watch or watch some sports. They also have an upstairs area for private parties. Will be going back!

    I have dined here many times, both with and without my young children. The food is always delicious; fancy bar food and some inventive appetizers. The beer list is extensive, the wine list is decent, and the cocktails are tasty. The service is never very good; it's always polite, but never seems to be attentive enough. Maybe they are understaffed when it comes to servers or the servers don't have enough experience. The food and view are awesome enough to make up for the slightly lacking attention of the servers.

    This was my second visit. First time was for lunch which was great. I think the food on the lunch menu was superior to the brunch offerings on my second visit. Was with a large group and no one was bowled over by their order. The build your own mimosa was great though, and reasonable priced. Servers were kind and attentive but dropped off a bit once it got busier. I really like the atmosphere/aesthetic and the beachfront view is unbeatable. Next time will just order off the lunch menu or dinner menu.
