Erica was the best server. We will definitely ask for her again. The quality of the food is based on order time. If you are one of the initial orders the rolls are perfect, tight, just wonderful. As the night went on the rolls became loose and a bit messy. Still good flavors.

My first experience with Sushi Masa was at Lakeland . It was a great experience then. Was looking forward to the Tampa Sushi Masa. Unfortunately , the new Tampa location is pale in comparison. Will probably not return. I was told this is a premium menu unlike Lakeland. I really don’t understand how it is premium when you take away stuff ( no free sake , no drink) and you have limited items ( no hibachi- no steak n shrimp). That’s basic Japanese AYCE to me . Also they charge more in Tampa than Lakeland location. Premium pricing in Tampa location is over rated and other ayce sushi restaurants are equally just as good with their sashimi n rolls . Would not go back to Tampa location.

The food and service was great. Food came out quickly and was hot. Only complaint would be that our drinks (from the bar) were not top notch and the area to pour the soy sauce is too small.
