Management and staff were very proud of the new opening of this establishment. Food was very good and worth visiting to sit outside for dinner. Service was also very good

Asked to be moved to a different table because of the noise in the bar area and was told there were no tables available. Meanwhile, several tables remained empty during our meal. 😡

There was a large bug in my partner’s entree cooked into the spinach. The manager was reluctant to refund our table’s food and tried to get us to instead accept a gift card. We will never be back here - terrible.

I had made a reservation a few days in advance. When we checked in was obvious the hostesses had no clue what they were doing and did not care about being nice or polite to customers. The first attempt to check in the girl took our name, didn't even look at us, said okay and dismissed us with a flip of her hand. We went to the bar to wait. After 15 minutes we went back up and again the two hostesses seemed confused and also didn't remember that we checked in. Again we went to wait at the bar. We watched (and could hear) other customers coming up with no reservation and wanting to be seated outside (as was in our reservation) and were seated right away. Again, we went back up, reminded them again that we were still waiting. It took them a while to figure out if there was any availability outside as we put in our reservation. Once we were finally seated we didn't get water or have anyone come to our table for 15 - 20 minutes. We had to flag down a waiter and ask if he could at the very least get us drinks. The ordering process and getting a refill on drinks was terrible. This is the worst experience Ive had at any restaurant ever. The only saving grace was the view, food and the good company we were with.

We havent been back in years and hands down, this was the best experience we have ever had. The service is incredibly top notch. We would like to send Monica a thank you for being so gracious and kind, especially to our daughter at the table.

the food and service was excellent. the scenery was breathtaking. we would definitely be back again .

Our server, Megan, was wonderful, thoughtful and professional. Enjoyed our food, cocktails and wine. Always a gorgeous view.

We have always liked Nicky’s on the Bay for a casual summer dinner on the water. So glad the new owners invested in updating the indoor dining area as well as the menu. It’s a bit more elevated than all the fried foods of the old menu. We started with the crab cakes. A little too much breading and not enough of the lump crab that I like; the lobster rolls - cold style but could have had a bit more mayo. Also, I don’t always like French fries so I would have liked another side option like fresh fruit or a small salad. My husband ordered the Mac n cheese side and it was delicious and so plentiful!! Our server Brendan was friendly and attentive and Eric, Assistant General Manager, came by twice to introduce himself and chat! How nice! Looking forward to dining there again in the near future!

We are so glad we went when we did. Early on July 4th around opening. We have a family member in a wheelchair who has dietary restrictions. Our servers and all who helped us were kind, and with the dietary concerns you are always worried that it will slip by and be overlooked so when the person came out and handed us the dish announcing that it was dairy free, it was so refreshing that they take it seriously enough to reassure you when they bring it out. We’ve always gone to the small location by ferry dock for decades, but with our new restrictions this seemed like the right choice. Thanks to the staff for kindness and patience and a great meal!

The table service was adequate. My husbands meal was good. The baked clams were delicious, but my medium rare steak was well done twice. Mashed potatoes were lumpy. The head waiter took the off the charge for my dinner without even being asked. Because of this I will try the restaurant again this summer.
