   Absolutely one of the best hidden gems in all of San Diego. The best quality meats and great customer service. It’s always a treat to stop by and bring others to try. おいしいです！

   This is a great friendly place to eat. This was our third time here and the food is high quality and very yummy. We went before the Friday night rush it was very nice and quiet. My daughter and I decided that our favorites are the kimchi fried rice, beef short ribs, vegetable plate and the mango pudding along with the strawberry mochi ice cream. They have a super yummy Wagyu beef, it melts in your mouth; a bit pricey but we did not order that this time. Staff is very attentive and you don’t have to wait long before they show up to your table and attend to your needs or requests. They also give you a cup of complementary hot tea after your meal. This was very flavorful. For my daughter and I and what we ordered stated above was about $95. Definitely will be going back again. You will not be disappointed if you decide to try this place.

   Amazing food! Tastes like your in Japan. We wanted authentic Japanese bbq and got exactly that!

   The beef quality was incredible, the service was horrible. We kept having to flag other servers down just to get assistance. I don’t know why our server didn’t want to come check on us or ask us if we want any more food or dessert? The ventilation system was so bad. I left the restaurant smelling like a kitchen. I’m not sure it’s worth another visit here there’s many other Japanese barbecues in town that really show that they care for their guests.

While we are glad to hear that you enjoyed the quality of our beef, we are truly sorry to learn that the service and environment did not meet your expectations. We sincerely apologize for the lack of attentiveness you experienced from us. Providing warm, satisfactory service is extremely important to us, and we clearly missed the mark during your visit. We will be addressing this directly with our wait staff to ensure it does not happen again. Regarding the ventilation issue, we appreciate your feedback and take it seriously. We are currently evaluating improvements to our system to create a more comfortable dining environment for our guests. Thank you again for bringing these matters to our attention.
