Paperboy is a breakfast and lunch spot, known for its thoughtfully curated menu and comfortable atmosphere. We use simple, quality ingredients in our dishes, with bread, juices, sauces and preserves made in-house. Whether you grab a pastry and coffee to go or sit and enjoy a meal with your friends, we put just as much thought and care into the Paperboy experience as the food itself.

Such an excellent brunch. Two days after eating there, I’m still thinking about the pop tart and the hash browns! Everything was great including the friendly staff. Will definitely go back.

We were impressed with the service and the appearance and taste of the dishes we ordered. We enjoyed sitting near the counter where the final plating was completed and the “hands up” call let wait staff know to deliver the food promptly. We ordered the Texas hash, a brown butter pancake, the classic breakfast, a cheddar hash brown and a latte with oat milk. We’ll be back; so many items on the menu sound wonderful.

You must get the Cinnamon toast! It’s a sensory delight. Another one of our favorites is the mushroom grits, simply delicious

Food was great, service was great, value was what I’d expect. It’s a cool place that’s very popular right now. Don’t expect to walk in on the weekend without a reservation. It was noisy at peak Saturday brunch time but the atmosphere was fun and festive. I’ll be back.

We had a 1 pm reservation, and when we got there, we had to wait about 15 minutes, no big deal, though. The waitress came to our table for drink orders and to tell us they were completely out of all pastries! Darn! We ordered pretty quickly after we arrived. It took forever to get our food (like 30 minutes!) and the food wasn't hot. We didn't complain because we were so hungry. We asked for the check, and our server brought it and told us our meals were "on the house (with the exception of the "kitchen fee"), so that part was very nice. If I go back, I'll go earlier in the day. Weekdays they close at 2.

As with many Austin hot spots, it’s pricey. However, I cannot stop thinking abt the kale salad w a side of cheesy grits. The service was great, staff was attentive. Hours are great. A little hard to get into but that’s good for the neighborhood.

For 3/4 of our 2:30 dining experience, they were busy closing shop. Service was nice (very well-intended) but not attentive enough. Had to make room on the table because it was too cluttered with empty dishes/glasses. Food was cold and, taste-wise, just fair. Nothing spectacular. Should not offer 2:30 pm reservations if they can’t honor the promised dining experience (without guy with a hose walking near tables!). Liked the other Paperboy location better (dined there 3x)

Excellent food and service. Turn the music down. With all the hard surfaces and loud music, could not easily share conversation with our party of 6.
