La Traviata at Southwest Parkway offers a polished yet relaxed Italian dining experience with a focus on pasta—especially carbonara and Bolognese.                                     Great place. Marion and her people are particularly diligent in every aspect. Additionally, we had an added benefit learning that as a function of our meal, Marion was contributing to the relief efforts for the flooding nearby. Can't say enough, and this is a place to check out.

                                    Friends took us to LA TRAVIATA for our anniversary. My wife was there prior and loves their pasta bolognese (with its touch of spinach). It was my first time since the Congress Avenue location closed. It was MOSTLY very good. Two appetizers were winners: the warm foccacia and the beets and burrata salad. Sadly, one of four entrees was a total loser: the chicken milanese. The meat was dry and flavorless, and could not be cut with the knife provided. We returned it to the kitchen with assurance by the waitress that the chef would be informed. Otherwise, the mushroom pasta and the duck confit were splendid and the pasta carbonara was liked but not impressive, says the person who ordered it. (Other customers seem to love it.) Complimentary profiterole for our anniversary was nice and served as a single upward projectile. Service was attentive and the environment at 7 PM midweek was not too loud. Room is pleasantly appointed. I will return but will be cautious when ordering any meat.

We’re thrilled to hear the focaccia and beet & burrata salad were hits, and that your table enjoyed the mushroom pasta and duck confit. The bolognese has always been a favorite of mine. We’re very sorry to hear the chicken milanese fell short though, and we appreciate you sending it back and giving us the chance to address it. Your comments have been shared with our chef, and we’ll absolutely take a look at the preparation and consistency of that dish.                                     Dining at La Traviata was lovely! The heirloom/caprese salad was so flavorful! The pasta plates are very good. I wish there was an option on the menu to add protein. Most of their pasta was vegetarian.
