Food was good, reasonably priced. Nice selection on the menu. Service was good but being newly opened had a few kinks. It will work out i am sure. Will be back!

While our server, Marleigh was outstanding, the food was not. Too much butter in everyone’s dish. We will try to visit again in hopes of a better meal.

We returned to the Costas Inn for the crabcake dinner special on a sweltering Monday night. Despite the oppressive heat, the crabcake was a delicious . I’ve been here four times, and tonight’s crabcake was the best I’ve had so far. I requested it well-broiled, which enhances the texture of the crabcake. This 8-ounce cake was generously filled with lump crab meat, complemented by a subtle filler that holds the lumps together. It had a slight moisture, but it tasted good tonight. The service was impeccable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our fourth visit to the Costas Inn.

The food was well prepared and tasty. Had a reservation, but waited at least 30 minutes for a table. Wait service was very slow and inaccurate.

Well priced and good variety. Crab cakes excellent. Staff courteous and helpful. Facility comfortable. We had a good time there.

To be fair, only 2nd week open at this location so I’m writing this as feedback for ownership and staff as constructive criticism. First, we are long time patrons of the OG Costas and despite the new Timonium Fairgrounds location not having steamed crabs, we thought we’d give it a try since it is in mom’s hood. The waitstaff was overwhelmed and they could use more waitstaff and bus staff on the floor. Super amicable and nice but in the weeds all night. Crab cake was too mayonnaisey and sweet (also undercooked). Steamed shrimp overcooked thus super hard to peel. Mixed veg with crab cake was mostly squash and onion. Jalapeño poppers had ZERO jalapeño flavor and couldn’t spot even a morsel of pepper anywhere. Mom’s soft shell crab sandwich was good, not great. Lastly, “hot fudge sundae” was vanilla ice cream and hot fudge. No cherry, no whipped cream, no nuts. Fudge brownie a La mode was solid. Need to pick it up both front of house and back of house if you want people to return. We will be back and hopeful of an experience more in line with the original Costa’s which is best in class! Hard to believe these two are related. Good luck and hope everything improves! We are rooting for ya!

My husband and I were there on a Friday at 6:30 and we sat at a low table in the middle of the room. We had crab imperial with a side salad and vegetables along with orange roughy Rockefeller with mash potatoes and vegetables. Both were excellent. Rice pudding for dessert. Service was good. The bar area was packed and the high tops were filling up. The room is so big that table are spread out so your next to others. It’s a very casual restaurant with excellent food.
