   I recently attended Nabe for Mother’s Day, and I must say, this restaurant—along with the service—was outstanding! The food was excellent, and our server, Anthony, was warm, gracious, and very knowledgeable about the menu. We were initially greeted by Jewels, who was extremely lovely and attentive. The manager stopped by to check on our service, and she was the consummate professional. After dinner, we visited their ice cream parlor, where we were greeted by a young man who was kind and gracious as he explained the different ice cream options. I wish every restaurant treated their patrons with such a high level of respect and served food of this quality. I can’t wait to eat there again! We had a double order of the spring rolls and dumplings, the Silver Pot with the seafood add-on, and the Wagyu Rice Box. Everything was freshly cooked and absolutely delicious.

   I had an exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was inviting, and every member of the staff was warm, professional, and attentive. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, whose passion for hospitality and dedication to excellence truly set the tone for the entire establishment—he was genuinely wonderful to speak with. The Wagyu dumplings were absolutely outstanding, among the best I’ve ever had, and showcased the care and quality that goes into every dish. This is a place I truly love, and I will most certainly be returning. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience.

   Crudo was flavorless with too many jalepenos. Waygu was good. Will be back when they have wine and a full bar.

   Went for my husband’s Birthday. We LOVE Japanese cuisine, high end beef, and hot pot. We thought this would be a perfect way to celebrate with our family. We tried the wagyu sando, the crab roll, tempura mushrooms, the Wagyu rice box, and the Wagyu and veggie hot pot. Our favorite was the Wagyu sando. Everything else fell short. The crab roll (for the price) has very little crab to bread ratio. The hot pot flavor was intense or none at all. Overall, the food was mediocre. The restaurant was beautiful. As soon as we entered we were pleased with the atmosphere. However, things changed rather quickly. The service was highly disappointing. The server had to read off a paper to explain every detail. When asked questions, server had to check and get back to us. Clearly they were new. The beef and vegetables were not cut into bite size pieces. I asked for a knife or scissors and was told “we can’t give you a knife and we don’t have scissors”. I explained that I wanted to cut my vegetables more so that I can properly have bite sized pieces and showed how large all the vegetables were (Napa cabbage, oyster mushrooms, squash, etc.). I was told “well, no one really eats the vegetables” and they walked away. I was left in major disbelief. My husband, knowing I was frustrated asked another person if they can accommodate. This person said they can take the vegetables to the back and have it cut more. We really wanted to restaurant to be amazing so we could have a nice high end hot pot restaurant but it was not up to par.

   Great Wagyu beef and flavors! Lumpia and Wagyu rice bowl were excellent! Salad dressing was just right for the cilantro, tomato salad.

   Exceptional service and flavors. Very hip ambience but not elitist. Sophisticated but not stuffy. It’s nice to have a standout place like this over in Restaurant Row.

   I came to experience NABE for my birthday celebration during their soft opening phase, but you truly wouldn’t have known it. The wonderful staff provided us with thoughtful and in-depth service. Anthony and Kevin treated us with such kindness and gave a thorough breakdown of the menu. The items we ordered were served in a very timely manner. Special shout-out for the WAGYU BOX. (I tore that UP!) I’ve already planned my next reservation and I can’t wait to see what’s to come for the beautiful NABE restaurant. Thank you 🫰🏾

    Dining at Nabe was an amazing overall experience. The food was great, the service was great, and the owners were very down to earth. I came from Connecticut to check it out and I will definitely come back! Highly recommended!
