Had a reservation for four made through OpenTable. Wanted to try this restaurant based on the reviews. When we arrived their computer had “glitched” and somehow set us at a table for two. The only offer to assist from the manager was to set the four of us up at a table for two or we were welcome to wait 30 minutes and a table might open up. No effort to accommodate us at all. Just kept saying it was the computer’s fault. Not acceptable, especially when we see open tables in the restaurant. Don’t care how the food is. Being treated like that is unacceptable and we won’t be back. There are too many good restaurants around who are kind and accommodating and take responsibility if they make an error. Super disappointing.

Hi Jodi, Thank you for your feedback. I was the manager on duty during your visit and sincerely apologize for your experience. OpenTable automatically assigns tables based on timing and party size, and your reservation for four was mistakenly assigned to a table for two. While this technical error was beyond our control, we understand your frustration. We offered alternative seating and a short wait while adjusting our plan, but some tables that appeared open were reserved for upcoming guests. Food tasted pretty good, but over $100 for two entrees and two drinks seemed too high priced for what you got. Service was nice.

Love this restaurant. The staff, food, and ambience are terrific - especially on a lovely summer evening out on the patio. We brought out of town guests there and they loved the menu and drinks. So happy it's our neighborhood spot!

First visit--Wow! We had reservations and were seated right away. Our waitress, Dee, was awesome. I enjoyed my rice/veggies dish and my husband's braised short rib was out of this world--melt in your mouth. In the top five entrees he's ever ordered. Thank you Canyon House. We will visit on a regular basis.

I am so thrilled to have such a first class, top notch restaurant right here in The Canyons. I meet business people there - my family & my very special friends. The food is fabulous (you Must try the short ribs and the Hamburger is by far the best burger ANYWHERE!). The surroundings & view are spectacular. Truly there isn’t another restaurant on the south side of the metro area that even comes close to The Canyons House Kitchen & Cocktails.

We waited a half hour after we were seated to get our drink order and only after we asked our server to check on our order. Seemed to be some confusion about who was waiting on us. We live in the Canyons and eat at Canyon House Kitchen and Cocktails fairly often but this was not a good experience.
