Sora is a casual temaki bar specializing in open-style sushi hand rolls. Our menu features signature temaki, including crunchy varieties, as well as takes on the classics and a special vegan section.     Had a beautiful evening at sora. It was a little difficult finding the restaurant. There was a small sign out front before you are led through a different restaurant up to the rooftop. The service was great. The food was delicious once I figured out how to eat the hand rolls :) Overall great experience and will return!

    Food was ok and definitely overpriced; then again it is the grove. Biggest issue is the fact that they leave the plastic wrapper on the hand rolls. They claim it’s to keep the seaweed from getting soggy but it just creates a lot of waste. Seems like an excuse to make up for not being able to manage service.

    I love this restaurant. Not only is the food amazing and the fish super fresh, but the service is great also! Shout out to our waiter Anthony! His recommendations never miss!

    Too expensive for what it is. Other handroll places provide better value. They also don’t have any set roll menus, which often provide more value. The Toro roll I ordered had the smallest thinnest piece of toro I have ever seen. Smaller than a traditional nigiri.

    Sat outside on the rooftop patio, which was a bit challenging at 5:30pm due to the setting sun. Servers are all very welcoming and helpful. I’ve still been trying to wrap my head around why the itty-bitty handrolls are served w/plastic on the nori. Between the time the chef makes the roll and the time it is delivered to the table it’s maybe a minute, not enough time for the nori to become soggy. This makes sense in markets or sushi vending machines in Japan, but not here. Removing the plastic wrap is not that easy, making what is almost always a fun experience (eating said handroll) a somewhat difficult and quite frankly unnecessary step.
