   It was date night and looking for someplace new, found Masa & Agave downtown. I arrived a few minutes late, they still took care of us and with a smile, very nice. The walk from the Key Tower was short and easy. Loved the look outside big mural tells you, you're on track. But inside is even better, total cool vibe from the flower murals in bar to the Mexican Skeleton Dancing Mural in the dining room. We got a comfortable half booth, my wife's favorite so we can talk without shouting. The server was a great guy named Herman, very knowledgeable and thought of all our needs before we did. Ask for him! He recommended the Guac and tostada, it was great my wife loved the Guac and I wanted more Tuna! it was fresh and bright. For our entrees she had the Fish tacos and I had the Short Rib, both exceeded our expectations, rare to happen in CLE. We were going to have the elote but went with the fritas and did see it go out at another table and already have it on our list for next time, and yes, we will have a next time, especially after three Passion Fruit Margaritas, a must have! Great vibe, great service and real Mexiacn food, equals awesome date night worth every penny, Thank you Masa!

   I had an excellent experience with some colleagues while attending a conference in town at Masa & Agave - very friendly service and authentic Mexican food! The guac, tuna tostada and tacos were all delicious. They have a great list of tequilas but also make good traditional cocktails too. The staff was telling me about their weekend brunch so will have to check that out on my next trip! Highly recommend!

   Had an amazing experience at Masa & Agave. The vibe was fun and lively, and the margaritas delicious! Our server was super knowledgeable and friendly, will absolutely be back!

   My friend and I had reservations atmasa and agave on Saturday, April 6. We were staying at the Westin and decided to have dinner at the accompanying hotel. Our reservations were for 715 and we were seated promptly. Our waiter Henry was nice enough but rarely came to check on us. We ordered guacamole for $14, and I was surprised at the very small portion that was served. The guacamole was only fair. My partner ordered chicken mole, and I ordered salmon. We waited quite a while for our meal to be served, and I can only say the food was only fair quality. I order salmon often when I eat out, and I must say this particular salmon was almost tasteless. It had a big piece of skin on top of it that looked very unappealing. I have had better Mexican food at my local Mexican restaurant. We will not be going back to Massa and agave.

   I ordered the chicken mole and papas fritas. The chicken was delicious. Don’t forget to ask for jalapeños tartar sauce to dip your fries in. That way you have two dips it comes with the chipotle aioli which is yummy too.

   Needed a quick place to stop for lunch while on a break for Jury Duty! I was not disappointed! Located within walking distance of the Justice Center, tucked away is a welcoming jewel! Service was great, lunch was delicious, and the vibe was mellow!

   Masa & Agave exceeded my expectations! This is a must try for quality, authentic Mexican cuisine. This was my second time here, and I can confidently say the servers are attentive, and the food is fresh and flavorful.

   This is not a negative review despite the three star rating. Just be aware that this is a “nice” Mex food place and prices reflect that. We didn’t get beyond apps and drinks because we found the service to be too slow for evening plans, unlike run of the mill Mex. Thus the beads-up. Our food was too-notch and not cheap. Just allow time.

    I thought it was weird for a Friday that they didn’t have anyone come to the table we had to walk to the bar to get our food and drink. I think maybe they were shortstaffed for a Friday. When we sat at the bar, it took forever to get a drink, and when I asked someone working behind the bar, she pointed at someone else that would help me.  After sometime, we finally got our drinks and someone finally came by to put in our food order.  I will say that the woman bartender that waited on us  was rather rude and she came off with an attitude. It was very offputting. Typically, I would usually leave the restaurant in that situation, but I was trying to enjoy Friday night after a long work week. Hopefully, I hope you hire better & nicer staff that works behind the bar that knows how to have a conversation and not be rude to its customers. I also hope that the restaurant will be fully staffed on one of its busy nights of the week where I don’t have to walk to the bar to get food or drink.
