Our server was overwhelmed and not very organized. Two came in after everyone else waited and got their cocktails finally and then the two waited at least 15 minutes to finally order their drinks. Apps came out 20 minutes a piece and she hardly noticed. Might help if mgmt approached tables but of course that never happened. Place needs training from top down. I doubt I would go back.

We went to Tap 42 for Father’s Day. It was not crowded. There was a DJ there playing loud techno/club music. I had to go ask him to lower the volume because we could not hear each other speaking. There was no one dancing—it was 1:00 pm. The music/DJ were completely inappropriate for the setting. Also, while the food was good, it took an hour for us to get appetizers—which is all we wanted because of the music.

Food was "ok". Service was now good. Hostess was very accommodating. I asked for a well done...it came "red". I did not return it cuzz it would have taken forever plus our server never came back to our table until it was check out time. Don't know if I would give them another chance. Also, for the price, drinks were very weak!

Interesting new area with multiple restaurants and plenty of free parking. Tap 24 is a chain. Large outdoor seating but no view. Food was disappointing: ribs too spicy for my wife. I had a steak sandwich which was over cooked and covered with a gooey cheese.Good service. A little pricey: sandwiches in $20's and mains in $30's and up.

The food at Tap 42 was very good. The appetizers and the main courses were all excellent. The only criticism we had was everything took a long time to come, seven the drinks.
