Located in Nashville's Germantown neighborhood, Henrietta Red is an acclaimed oyster bar and restaurant. It boasts a welcoming barroom, spacious dining room, oyster bar, and a temperature-controlled, enclosed patio.

Henrietta Red’s approach to dining centers on fresh, seasonal dishes intended for sharing, fostering an inviting atmosphere ideal for meals with familiar and new friends.
Our menu highlights local TN produce and responsibly sourced seafood, offering an extensive variety of oysters from coast to coast.

Henrietta Red was named one of America’s 50 Best New Restaurants by Bon Appétit, one of GQ’s Best New Restaurants in America, and a James Beard Foundation Awards Semifinalist for Best New Restaurant in 2018. Chef Julia has been recognized as one of the Best Young Chefs in America by Robb Report and as one of Food & Wine Magazine’s Best New Chefs in 2018. She was also a 2019 semifinalist and 2020 Nominee for Best Chef: Southeast by the James Beard Foundation Awards.

    I had 2 servers- the initial server (I wish I remembered her name) was amazing- really personable and excellent service! My second server just took over at the end and was also good. Food was good- excellent oysters and wine, food was good. (I had the grouper).

    First time in Nashville and first time at Henrietta Red the bread was phenomenal, we had three orders. The oysters were great and the pasta and scallops were properly cooked.

    Lovely. The food was thoughtful and delicious. The steak tartare had a pickled spaghetti squash that was really a different way of treating it.

    Weve been here twice and the food and drinks have been phenomenal. Do not miss the cauliflower spaghetti or the feta cheesecake.
