Fern Bar is a unique destination in Kansas City's Crossroads District, housed in the historic Broadway Bank building. Recently nominated for Best New U.S. Cocktail Bar, this casual and warm space features exposed brick arches as an ode to Kansas City & a striking terracotta bar, creating an atmosphere that captures our home in KC while exploring Latin & Caribbean themes. Fern Bar was awarded Best Girls Night Out bar in 2024 & Best New Bar by KC Magazine.

At Fern Bar, craft cocktails take center stage, particularly those made with sugarcane & agave spirits. The seasonal menu (changing quarterly) offers innovative drinks, each with its own story, catering to both cocktail enthusiasts & newcomers alike.

Our server was awesome and the menu was super unique... we loved every drink we had at the table. We will definitely be back!

My reservation was cancelled by Fern Bar, they got a request for a private party at the same time so I had to take my business elsewhere. I was really looking forward to checking it out since my office is in the neighborhood! I plan on checking it out eventually but I am pretty turned off at the moment.

Fern is literally one of my favorite bars down on the crossroads! The vibes are always immaculate, and the drinks are strong and delicious. I was recently here to celebrate my 30th and they made me feel so special and gave us free shots! Love this bar! 💚😝

Stating that you could stop through Fern Bar for a delicious cocktail and fun atmosphere would be an understatement. A part of the Fern Bar experience is the staff, the hand selected spirits and providing an answer to any questions you may have when it comes to their original menu. A reservation is wise but my favorite place at Fern is seated at the bar.

Great venue, setup of DJ booth relative to guest seating was perfect. The music was great, ambience was welcoming, and the energy was upbeat. The crafted drinks were delicious and appropriately themed. The staff was attentive/engaging and fun even with lots of guests.
