We love the patio as it has lots of energy but noise level is more to our liking than indoor. Started with the fried asparagus which is delicious - not at all greasy. Love the Bistro salad - always get the dressing on the side and add either chicken or Salmon - both servings very generous and delicious. My husband had the veggie burger which is pretty amazing - again very generous and delicious.

I have a standing weekly reservation at Nicks and always love the food, but Kirby the server is far and above a huge asset to this location. She is very attentive, knowledgeable and always says yes. I might try to steal her for my company. Kirby Nicks Newport Beach.

Amazing food. The carrot cake slice was massive! It wasn’t my birthday but Kevin treated us like royalty.

Food and service were excellent. Noise level inside was vey loud (packed around 2:30 PM), due to hard floors, hard ceilings and hard table tops. Better to sit outside, if possible.

Our server, Kirby, was outstanding and made us feel welcomed and special. She surprised me with a little cake for Father's Day. The other servers were amazing as well. Due to the exemplary service, we will return to Nick's Newport Beach! The food was great too and at a decent price point. We had 2 cocktails that were excellent; cucumber collins and the Mi Guayaba. We order the prime rib dip, blackened fish, and my favorite, the ribeye melt. Thank you everyone at Nick's NB for making my belated Father's Day extra special!

Wonderful meal and great service. We celebrated a birthday and they were very sweet about it even giving a signed card at the end!

I thought a Wednesday night at 5:30 was a good time to try this restaurant and I had a reservation for a seat of one at the bar which they did honor and I was very grateful for that because there was a line waiting for the bar and the restaurant. It was the loudest restaurant I’ve ever been in. It is definitely geared to a younger crowd. There were a few people of my contemporary. I had two appetizers that I did not care for the bar service was average so I’m going to give it one more try for lunch, hoping it will be less crowded and I can order an entrée or salad and then I will decide. Not my favorite Nick’s location and I’ve been to all of them.
