I love my waiter, but I forgot her name. She had a bubbly personality. Ok so, I didn’t HATE the food, but the gravy was EXTREMELY salty. I ordered the pot roast, collard greens (my favorite item, VERY tasty) and sweet potatoes. The pot roast was very tender, the gravy was just heavily salty. The tap water is disgusting, we asked for lemon to help ease it but I still couldn’t drink it. A filter would help with that. I had the Jordyn’s Mermaid Water Cocktail. It was pretty good. My date had the beef short ribs with mash potatoes with gravy and asparagus. He stated that the gravy was salty as well and it felt it was running his blood pressure up. I’ll give them a 5, but u would like to go back and try the brunch. Please get a filter for the water!

Smothered pork chops was tuff and not smothered had to send them back...Ask for Jerk wings instead no more left..Choose catfish because I don't eat the other options can't tell you how it tasted never tried the catfish was just ready to go..The main reason going because I wanted dressing and they did not have any left either.

The food was delicious however the service was poor. We had to wait after reservation even though I was 30 minutes early. We I arrived there was a table available.

A very underwhelming experience. I had high hopes for Jordyn’s despite the mixed reviews. While attending for my sister’s birthday, our service was below average. We ordered apps, they were delivered without plates or silverware. We asked the runner who brought the food for it and he only brought plates, when we asked about the silverware he said ok and never returned. Our server stopped by to see how things were going, we asked her for silverware and she hurried off and did not return. We waved down the manager who was sitting at the bar chatting with several servers (including ours) and asked for silverware again. He finally sent someone over. Then our entrees came. We ordered the fried catfish, jerk cornish hen, and jerk lamb chops. Everything was great besides the lamb chops. They were tiny, not cooked to the temperature I requested, and not jerked and when I alerted the server she took them back quickly and came back with them — the kitchen had just tossed some jerk sauce on them and sent them back. If that was the case she couldve just brought me the jerk sauce on the side. The drinks were tasting and most of the food was good, but I do not think I will be back. With the amount of things that went wrong it was not worth the $260 we spent.

The good: cool vibes, well seasoned food, and our server Shae. The bad: sides were cold (replaced once we informed them). Most of our entrees took over an hour.

It was very nice the food was good and the service was as well but i a little upset about paying $2 for a little sauce cup of cranberry sauce it should have been free with the dressing

They had too much going on it was extreme loud due to other customers you could barely enjoy the music , the waiter was so slow bringing our drinks. The bartender was rude yelling “stop letting people in damn “ mind you they closed at 12am and it was only 945 pm . Just over all not what to expect being in Hyde park area

The seating is to close together , we felt like we was on top of each other. We waited 45 minutes to even get water or for a person to come greet us. We waited 2 hours for food and it came out cold. Would not recommend this place to anyone
