Blacklock a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Sunday Roast almost as good as Mum's.

We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.

Had the Sunday roast and was superb Dermot, our server seemed to know what we wanted before we asked, was friendly without being in your face. We were right under a speaker so was loud - but a good atmosphere and food was great - would return to try the Steak

We enjoyed the Sunday roast so much! Meat quality was good and gravy was tasty too. Their service was great and kind to us who are with a 2 year also child. We would love to go back!

Great food and really lovely service. It is a little noisy but that’s just the acoustics of the building, would 100% recommend and visit again. Thank you!

Pristine filet as usual. World class peppercorn chop sauce. Good crumble. Amazing chips. Extremely reasonable prices and they don’t miss a beat so far as they expand. Same filet at most places double the price and lower quality. Much lower in fact. No factory farmed meats here!!!
