   We had a very enjoyable lunch with terrific weather outside under the Coleman bridge. We both had the fresh catch tacos and Jason did an excellent job as server. We do miss the fresh catch fish sandwich with salad which is no longer on the menu. Those of us allergic to shellfish cannot have the substituted crab sandwich.

   Food was plentiful and very good. Buffet was kept well stocked, and the food kept fresh.

   This review is for the Mother's Day Brunch Buffet on 5/11/2025. We were seated quickly in a very nice booth with a great view. We waited longer than expected to hear from our waitress. After some back and forth over drinks we ordered a pineapple mimosa and a bottle of wine then proceeded to the buffet. There was a good selection of fruit and pastries. Bagels were thrown into a pile of other breads, there was no way to warm them up and no way to tell how long they had been sitting there. They had a selection of breakfast meats, hash browns and a breakfast casserole. If you wanted an omelet you had to order it from the wait staff which we didn't do. Further down was mac and cheese, corn kernels, mashed potatoes and broccoli in steamer dishes. A nice carving station was set up with lamb, ham and beef selections. In the middle of the room was a display of oysters and boiled shrimp along with a nice dessert selection. We made our selections and returned to our seats. Still no drinks. Flagging down the waitress after we had eaten nearly half of our meal to ask about the drinks, she informed us she was not of legal age to serve it and it had to be delivered by the bar staff, A few minutes more and it was - finally. The food, despite being in warming pans, was cold, even when being tasted immediately after landing on our plates. The broccoli was disgusting with an odd taste and was very tough as was the chicken dish. The salmon was good cold and the prime rib was basically tasteless. There were no crackers for the raw oysters. We barely saw our waitress and the mandatory tip was excessive for the service received. Tables were packed so tight that ours was constantly being hit by wait staff. This $60 per person meal turned out to be almost $100 when all was said and done, I know the bottle of wine ran the bill up. I was not impressed and shouldn't have made reservations and just gone to Water's Edge next door where I've always had good experiences.

   From the general manager down, everything was absolutely wonderful. The view was great, and the food was always plentiful!!

   We enjoyed our Mother’s Day meal at the Riverwalk was very nice. The food was better than average, and the service was excellent. The ambience in the crowd was very pleasing and quiet and very cordial.

   Mother's Day buffet with what should have been amazing items, but we found everything to be tepid temp at best. Prime rib was barely lukewarm even while under the red light. She crab soup wasn't even lukewarm. Everything was set up in warmers but nothing was warm. Food was good despite the temp. Not worth $200+ for three people though.

   Seemed like it was perhaps an off night. Seated at 6:30 pm (party of 6). Took until 8:05 for food to come out — wrong table and was retrieved to return to the kitchen and 1 min later being delivered to nearby table. Dinner arrived about 8:15 — dirty dishes remained on table most of time there. Appetizers - a dozen oysters (tiniest oysters) and a bit gritty. Hush puppies- fine- kids loved them Artichoke and spinach dip — excellent Entrees 2 Scallop dishes (excellent— cooked to perfection) 1 Chef Steak (on smaller side— pretty fatty too 1 Steak Fritte looked like about 4 oz of steak — unusually small - Burger and fries burger came out 5 min after rest of food w/o fries (kitchen was out and making more) — when all out- burger and fries good Waitress was friendly and pleasant but seemed too busy to give attentive service. May try again, but not in a rush to do so.

   Good was very average. The pita was not handheld. No chicken dishes on menu. Very disappointing food. Waitress and management very nice. Need better food choices.

    The restaurant is beautiful, the service (i.g. Danny) was outstanding, and the food tasted terrific (i.e., prawns, shrimp and grits, shrimp and andouille sausage and linguini, and creme brulee). I will definitely return soon.
