Fun idea of touring the world’s cuisines. We were there on Tapas Tuesday and enjoyed four of the dishes. The Mac-n-cheese and Schnitzel bites were good, the minced meat and mushrooms were blah. Kinda of a mixed bag.,The cocktails were a disappointment, almost watered down and not creative. They should pair the cocktails to the world menu. The regular menu has great offerings so we will be back to try the place again. Service was great and ambiance nice.,

Excellent food and service. We sat at the bar for HH drinks and the mussels and frites before our meal which was sooo good, best sauce we’ve had on mussels in a while. Then sat at a table by the window for our meal. Had the Mediterranean Sea bass, cucumber salad and Slovak Mac n cheese and they all were excellent. The owner was playing music the whole time in the corner too which was fun! Highly recommend visiting and enjoying this spot.

What an unexpected surprise! We chose Blue Tuba because of its proximity to the Heights Theater, having heard nothing about the restaurant. What we found was a friendly, welcoming staff, a charming and comfortable dining room, a menu that covered most of the cuisines of continental Europe, and food quality that rivals many of the top restaurants in Houston. We especially enjoyed the schnitzel, the. Chicken Paprikash, and the selection of appetizers including pierogis and other delicacies. Well worth a visit! We’ll be back!

Good eastern European food. No European beer. The cucumber salad was okay. The rest of our meal was above average. They had a nice outside venue but it was too hot to use.
