Most of the food was precooked. Food was served less than 5 minutes after order was taken. Miso butterfish not grilled but fried. Sashi was frozen. Was not aware the we were charged $5. each for ordering butterfish and sashimi on Teishoku menu. Restaurant is more like Japanese fast food.

Wonderful place. They accommodated my large family for dinner. I had 3 children under 3 which they worked around them when serving our dishes. Loved the old fashion wooden booths.The food and choices were delicious. I would definitely go back.

We enjoyed our Shrimp Tempura Teishoku, Vegetable Tempura Teishoku, Butterfish, Sashimi, Namasu, and other delights! Food is always excellent and service is exceptional! We enjoy dining at Kuni's Japanese Restaurant for special occasions. This time we had family visiting from Vegas! It was a wonderful reunion there! Thank you!

We got there about 20 mins prior to our reservations and they were able to accommodate us. Everyone is always so friendly. Food is delicious!!

The food is good and traditional. Service is usually good. The food always comes out fast and portions are appropriate. I really like the way one can make their own entree combos.

Overall it was a good experience. I know that we came in on the later side and staff was just ready to close up shop, but we could definitely feel that vibe. But, the food was good and I’m willing to try and eat there again sometime.

Booked while driving on freeway…Ooops! But got a table - all within driving time, upon arrival- well greeted by all the working staff, food was so awesome & treated with a dessert.
