   I’ve visited every Toca Madera locations and I’ve never had to wait 1 hour past my reservation time just to be seated. I spent a total of 3 hours at the restaurant which was not my intended goal. It’s very clear this manager has no sense of professionalism. I wasn’t even offered any compensation for the inconvenience they caused me and my family. If you can’t be like the other locations please shut down. When you over sell your reservations it not only affects service and expectation, but this time it affected the food because is rushed. The cheese fondue was literally a bowl of grease. The churros were practically like eating greasy potato chips because they were so over fried. To automatically be paid 20% gratuity for awful service isn’t sitting right with me.

   The place is amazing The service spectacular very friendly they all the time attend my table so so cool …. Now is one of my fav places to go!!!!!

   Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience. Service was top notch. Atmosphere was a whole new level with the fire dancers, live music and multiple menu items being lit on fire! The food was delicious and we enjoyed everything we ate. The only negative is they include gratuity for all parties, not just larger parties. Look at your bill carefully or you will end up paying more gratuity on top of that because they still print the suggested gratuity amounts at the bottom of the check even though they already added gratuity to your bill.

   Beware! A 20% gratuity is automatically added to the bill. PLUS…..they have the “suggested” tip amounts at 18, 20 and 22% listed on the bill. If you are not paying attention, you could easily tip them 40%. The food is alright but overpriced. It’s too loud inside to carry on a reasonable conversation. I think it is shameful to automatically add 20% to the total (including the tax, of course). This isn’t Europe. And it’s insulting to suggest another 20%. The bill should trumpet: TIP HAS ALREADY BEEN INCLUDED. I gave this feedback to the restaurant when they emailed me the day after dining. It was a rote reply, saying they were concerned about my feelings and would follow up. They lied.

   The service was very slow, even though the restaurant was not particularly busy. Additionally, the music was louder than appropriate for a family brunch. We were pleased with the quality of the food and drinks, but the prices seemed high. I was surprised to see a $13 upcharge for adding chicken to my son's Caesar salad. I was also charged an extra $5 per drink for switching from tequila to mezcal, and I was not informed of this upcharge beforehand.

    Service was top notch, from entering, chilling at the bar and seating at table, Zoey and beverage waiter was phenomenal, I’ll definitely be back.
