   The ambiance and food were delicious. Service was just way too slow. My sister's salad came 45 mins into being seated while everyone else had their apps about 25 mins into service. Then her main course came 5 mins after her salad. Took 30 mins for my 2nd drink. It wasn't packed so I didnt understand why the service was so slow.

   Food was not good. Fish was still rubber in inside. Redfish was still soft.

   Blue Bayou is much more casual than we expected. It’s on Canal Street and designed for foot traffic rather than planned dining. The food was good but nothing memorable. Our server was good and attentive.

   Service was awful. Nobody bussing. Server did the best he could but food took about 2 hrs to come out.

   Overall, everything was great. It did seem to take awhile to finally get someone to take our orders. Once that occurred, there wer zero issues

   The service was extremely slow. The music was good, but it was so loud I had to scream across the table. Our server was attentive, but the kitchen took way too long. I would not go back.

   Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant was a major letdown. The customer service was poor from the start—we waited 30 to 45 minutes for both our appetizer and main course, despite the restaurant not being busy and several empty tables in sight. The only reason we even received our food was thanks to the manager stepping in. To add to the frustration, my appetizer came out with the entrées, and my entrée didn’t arrive until 10–15 minutes later—despite all of us ordering at the same time as a family of four. The food itself? Overpriced and underwhelming. We paid $25–$28 per plate, and the quality just didn’t match the price point. The biggest disappointment was the $26 burger, which looked and tasted more like a kids’ meal than a premium dish. Although several seafood dishes were ordered, the price didn’t match the quality. The manager apologized and made some adjustments to the bill, but the damage was already done. We were more than ready to leave, and based on this experience, we won’t be returning.

   They did not honor the reservation. The hostess said open table does not work right for us. We were told it would be a 45 minute wait. We took an expensive Uber to get to this side of town.

    I made a reservation for 5:45pm. When I got there I told the hostess I had reservations she replied it’s a 10-15 min wait, I asked even with a reservation she said yes. The reservation just tells us you coming it doesn’t reserve a table/spot.. I waited the 10 mins sat down there was a water leak from the ceiling that was dripping everywhere. The waiter came she spoke with us and the table next to us at the same time. She put our food order in and never came back to check on us or anything. We had to get utensils from the hostess. The food came out it was very bland no seasoning at all the onion and bell peppers were hard not fully cooked. The oysters was okay but could have been cooked a little longer. The drinks were good I must say.. Overall it’s not a spot I need to go back to unless I’m going for a drink because the food and the service was a NO!!
