   Tried twice before review - both times the restaurant was pretty empty and we waited for over 10 min to get seated with reservations. Service was so so, and the food was so so. Spending around $200 - better food and atmospheres to enjoy on glenwood and in DT Raleigh area.

   We had a party of 11 celebrating my son and future daughter in laws engagement. The service was incredibly attentive and the food was delicious ! They made the night extra special! Totally recommend this restaurant! And bonus so close to downtown in walking distance to other bars to continue any celebration.

   Veal Parm was very good. Chicken Saltimbocca was under seasoned and Rigatoni was very al dente. Service was good.

   I booked this experience for Mother's Day. My mom loves trying new and TASTY food; she's also a stickler for a good ambiance. Anthony's didn't disappoint! The food was amazing, the service was definitely family style with a few quirks and the chef even came out to speak to all the mothers. This experience was great and we will come back again!

   Anthony's La Piazza is not just dining it's an experience. The food, the location, the atmosphere. Loved the music which was Frank Sinatra and Rat Pack. Oh my goodness, the food was excellent. Great service. Anthony knows what he's doing. It's a great location on Glenwood and we found parking right away. We've been eating at Anthony La Piazza restaurants for many years and it's ALWAYS excellent. Thank you for you a memorable evening! Sharon and Jeff C.

   The venue was nice. Very clean and organized. The menu had something for everyone. All the food we ordered was very good. My only concern was that one of our party ordered the Gnocchi and the waitress asked him if he wanted meat and he ordered lobster, but there was no lobster so he got the salmon. No price was offered by the waitress and when we received the bill it had lobster. Asked the waitress and she said the salmon was the same price as the lobster ?! Never seen a restaurant charge as much for salmon as they do for lobster. Prices were not on the menu for the additional meat.

    I NEVER leave reviews. But this place was such a gem. I was traveling for work and happened to find them. One of my major food groups is pasta with vodka sauce and this was the BEST I have ever had. I swear. No one paid me to say this, and I never do this but everyone has to know. The food here is incredible. The service is great. It is the classic neighborhood Italian restaurant everyone needs. Definitely give it a try. I promise it will become a regular on your list.
