   I make it a point to visit the Vue every other month when I am traveling to DC all the way from California. Today was the first time that I was disappointed with the service, food, and more importantly the poor customer service by the gentleman with the dreads who was the host. No greeting at all, ignored my request for the table we were hoping for, didn’t even respond when I asked him about a specific table, was rude to my wife when she asked where the restroom was, and didn’t even have anything to say to us when he escorted us to our table. What made it worse was that this was my wife’s first time joining me here. Please take the time to do some customer service remedial training on your staff.

   We very much enjoyed our visit. The view is outstanding. Food was excellent. My only complaint was the price of the drinks. I ordered a Moscow Mule. It wasn’t served in a copper mug (standard) and cost $29 + tax and tip. I’m sorry but that is an outrageous amount for a cocktail.

   The restaurant host forgot about my party, and we did not get seated in our requested location, on the terrace. People with reservations after us were seated before us, very frustrating. And the kitchen ran out of a dish that we wanted, which would’ve been enjoyed had we been seated earlier.

   You are paying for the view, the drinks were good (but $30 each) service was meh. We only got apps, but did get to see the presidential helicopter do some practice maneuvers on the white house lawn. Like I said, paying for the view.

   Was expecting a higher standard of decorum in restaurant. After being on web and it saying there was a dress code . However our waitress was good .although the food was overpriced it was nice.

    Great food with a great view! We so enjoyed eating The delicious appetizers, Entrees, and desserts! Everything was delicious and made so well! Our table had a great view of the Washington monument and also you could see the White House at sunset. Definitely it is a bucket list place to go to if you’re in DC.!
